Although we allow unlimited keywords, we usually recommend to stick with no more than 3-5 main keywords per campaign, as surpassing this amount will dilute the outcome resulting in a weaker SERP impact & outcome in each one of them, not to mention that the keywords without proper onsite SEO will be much harder to rank for.

Besides your main keywords, you're free to provide us with secondary and/or generic keywords for the purpose of diversifying your anchor phrases profile.

When a client provides a list of mere targeted keywords (main keywords), we always add to this list a set of generic keywords (non-targeted keywords) when processing his link pyramid, in order to diversify the anchor texts ratio to avoid any possible over-optimization. We usually go for a 1:1 ratio of targeted:non-targeted phrases.

By generic keywords we mean non-targeted keywords, some examples are:
- Naked url type of keywords: www.yoururl.com, yoururl.com, http://yoururl.com...
- Brand name variations: YourURL, yoururl, YOURURL...
- Common words keywords: click here, source, visit site...
