WP ENGINE? Pros? Cons?

Hi guys, does anyone have experience with WP Engine... I've heard they are the best when it comes to wordpress... Your opinions?

I've used godaddy in the past and Im verry dissapointed, but WP engine seems like great to boost speed and security of your wp site.. If it is big and important site then price shouldn't be a problem... But first I want to hear from someone who used or using their services...

I suggest to try their demo, Moz has a promo with them "seomozpro" use the code for 4 months and decide yourself.
I'm giving them a test, I mean the price is a real setback...

Not worth it, they are just too much over hyped.Get vps host + cloudflare and your site will load faster then wpengine.

In most of reviews people compare shared hosting with wpengine and that is why it looks good. compare apples to apples and wpengine will not be able to beat a dedi/vps.

I have used it for my client. It's really costly but totally secure. If money isn't a problem for you, then wpengine is recommended.

WPEngine is nothing than a linode.com reseller. I use mediatemple, same money, 3 websites hosted, no visitors limit. I used to have WPE hosting accs but after some problems regarding website speed, I switched to MT.

Seriously overpriced. If you're looking for cheap, go with Namecheap or Godaddy.

I use one for one Magento install and 2 Wordpress installs and it runs fine.

For Magento I use varnish caching though, without the caching it wouldn't be as fast. Howver, Worpdress is much lighter than Magento.

Yes it is self managed. It is cheap and fast. There is a one click install for wordpress so setup is easy.
