[Method] Amazon to eBay Drop-shipping Done Right! Spoon Fed! *Long/Detailed*

Questions:

1. How much Net Profit did you get from the method you mentioned above?
2. How much does it cost in total to make that profit? What are the costs?

Lewy, I have some more questions if you don't mind answering.

1. Do you list all your items just with fixed price or you use auctions(bid price) sometimes?
2. Do you enable Best offer or don't use that?
3. Did you ever use some services for marketing purposes, like for examples some services that can gain you some watchers or something similar? Or you just list your items and that's it? And would you recommend using some service like that? Because I list few items, have it for couple of days, tried to use better titles then similar listings but from what I see I have very little views.
Do you have any other suggestions that could improve people see my listings?
Thank you in advance!

Read through the thread, both of those questions are answered

1. Fixed price only, no reason to risk selling an item too low because people didn't bid that day

2. No I don't use best offer

3. I have only listed, nothing else to market. I just try to make my listings as high quality as possible with keyword rich titles. I don't have a method for marketing this, but if someone could find a way it may be worthwhile. The only issue is when you make around $7-10 per sale, there isn't a lot you can really spend on marketing since all of my items are from different categories.

In the ebay product description everybody has nice colours and fonts and pictures and styles etc. I'm a noob so I don't know how to do this. My description is just plain because I dont use the html editor. OP what are your descriptions like? Thanks.

Awesome post. I've been looking into dropshipping a while and you definitely cleared some things up. congrats on your success so far and thanks for the share!

Been lurking a while but wanted to chime in. I've been using this strategy for about 6 months and can 100% vouch for everything the OP has said. Great thread! Awesome tip on Prime. Didn't realize you could "reset" like that every month. Thanks, brother! Good stuff.

What's your earnings?

hey OP, great method! I am trying it out now too. Also I included the Subtitle with FREE 2 day Shipping to anywhere in the USA.
Question is, do you set up an Ebay Store? If you do, what are the plus points of having a store.

Right now i dont have any eBay Store. I just list it as it is.

I know that Amazon dont include invoices but what about sellers with fulfilled by Amazon. Ive ordered stuff from them before and have recieved an invoice in the box? Does this mean I can only list items sold by Amazon?

I never have a single success with eBay... hope this one working for me, thank you...

Yes I have the $20 per month option because I get 150 free listings per month and after that listings are $0.20 instead of $0.30.

Mark the item as a gift. Problem solved.

why dont you sell items in the $100s? I found an item thats 80 on amazon and sell for 140 on ebay easily . Should I stay clear of that item? or no?

To be honest I'm not 100% sure. My total sales are $15,190.93. So if I had to guess my profit is somewhere around $1200-$1500. But that's spread out over 6 or 7 months.

This has never been my main gig. Just something I did from time to time for some extra cash. But I've picked up some awesome tips in this thread that have me rethinking doing a lot more going forward. Hope that helps.

I know Lewy2k responded to this, but I thought I'd offer my 2 cents. I always mark it as a gift. But having said that, sellers fulfilling through Amazon may or may not include an invoice, whether you select gift or not. I just never worried about it at all. I have never had anyone complain.

My advice...just do it. I've found that, while all of these "what-if" questions are understandable, they're also based in a little bit of fear of screwing up. Push those fears aside and just do it.

There is absolutely nothing immoral or unethical about this strategy. Trust me, if someone buys from you, it's because what you're offering is worth the price to them. As long as you do you best to treat them right and deliver what you advertise, that's all they care about.

No that's perfectly fine to do. Although, you will find that after working with eBay for a while, that items from Amazon that are $100+ are harder to sell for a large profit. Mostly because they are name brand items that you just can't compete with on eBay. The $50 and under range has a lot of items from sellers that make items that only their company makes and is not name brand.

If you can find a good item then go for it, but I only have around 5 items I sell in that price range.

Well said and 100% true. There are so many what-if questions that stop people from attempting methods like this. Customer service is the reason this method can be a big earner, something a lot of people don't seem to understand. My 1500+ positive feedbacks are proof of that.

I have listed 10 items due to my restrictions but unfortunately not a single one has sold. It's quite disheartening because I spent a lot of time choosing the products and making the listings stand out. I'd appreciate it if somebody could pm me what type of product they have had success with. Thanks.

How long have you waited? Some of my items only sell once per month but I still keep them listed because I know they will. Keep those items up for up to a month and then try another 10 if you don't get a sale. You could also try dropping the price for a smaller margin of profit at first to get going.

If you'll shoot me a PM, I'd be happy to look over you're listings and give you some feedback. Just throwing it out there. :)
