I don't know if you have already seen this, but I am mind-blown away. I knew this technology would come alive someday and Microsoft finally made it possible. Watch the following video, I can't wait for it to go on mass production to purchase it. Also HoloStudio opens up a whole new world of possibilities for us too.

Every huge/major "change" gives us headache (at least for me) but eventually we get used to it.

I already have a million ideas spinning in my head on what to create to make my environment more productive and more fun of course. Plus soon we will have plenty of guys selling holographic designs on fiverr that work with HoloStudio for $5

Cool product but the presenter has no stage presence or presentation skills and the actual video itself lacked life... too bad as this could be a game changer for a lot of different applications.

It looks more like a advertising campaign for windows 10 than actually HoloLens. Augmented Reality has been out for a few years now so this isn't really impressive as it would have been 4 or 5 years ago.

I'm not sure what distinction you're drawing since HoloLens uses Windows 10. As for AR, this is really a step further since it's a holographic display that you can interact with.

Its not holographic its augmented reality, if it was holographic it would be displaying content for persons not wearing it to see.

But there's a name for what the pretty cool-sounding HoloLens can do: augmented reality. It's a term that's been around for years. HoloLens, and Windows Holographic, are just trying to perfect it. And maybe, put a marketing spin on the concept that will appeal better to real people.
