Looking For Help With Facebook Ads? Ask Me Anything

And to answer one of the questions before for $.01 clicks - what OP said, and in addition you might want to promote stuff that has a chance of going viral. You usually don't get direct penny clicks anymore, but with tons of likes and shares, your clicks get cheaper and cheaper, as there are plenty of "free" ones that come.

And my question:
Have you got accounts banned for list building? (With or Without frontend offer after people opt-in)
(Affiliate marketing)

Just looking to help and give back to this community as much as possible. Not claiming I'm the best by any means so please no trolls, but have made a steady profit with FB for quite some time now.

For a PPC noob, what would you recommend him to get into first; Adwords or FB PPC? Which is easier and less risky to lose investment?

I actually just posted a thread about help with this, I'm an advertiser in diet/beauty and am looking to start running my own internal traffic, I'll compensate for the help. PM your Skype if you would be willing. (I do volume as well, so not talking 50 sales a day)

PM'd you brother!

I have been doing SEO for a long time and was thinking of getting into FB ads . If possible to guide me then please PM me your skype mate.

Thanks in Advance.

That was a pretty sick stats you got there.

Usually do you use promote post option? or you use get clicks to websites option?

I personally find promote post more engaging and have higher chance of hitting low cpc.

Recently i noticed that fb ads system is weird, their price 3-4x for all CPM and i wonder if you are having the same issue.

currently is 10$/CPM for US and 5-7$CPM for a few 1st tier countries i think.

btw one more question, do you do direct linking usually for trial offer? or create a quick landing page?

Hey! I'm going to try some beauty offers. and was wondering what sort of setup are you doing? I'd love to chat with you on skype or something- I can't PM you since I don't have 15 posts.

I'm also running a fan campaign for some food site and cant seem to get the CPL down below $.10 in the US. I'd love a new set of eye balls on it.

is it worth trying FB ppc campaign for selling wordpress themes if you have any exp in that niche?
would you go for PPC on facebook page or to direct visitors to the website?
And do you use their Stock images for ad creation?

You absolutely can as you can target those who like wordpress and whatnot. I would try to use a website where I could capture the lead or convert the sale, not a big fan of facebook page promotions as facebook doesn't seem to distribute to your fans of your page naturally.

Images vary depending on the niche, I always try to go for something more out there or unique to get the best CTR possible, but end of the day the #1 thing that matters is CPC vs EPC.

I have a startup which I'm working full-time at, we're buying ads on Facebook and I have a few very specific questions regarding our campaigns. Could we chat over Skype sometime?

Thanks for the contribution!

Thank you very much for taking time to help other people. It's always good and builds good karma credit:p

As I'm a complete n00b in the subject, I would be very happy if you could answer few of my questions. Hopefully it will clarify things for me and help me get the best results out of my investment.

Let's get it straight, I'm nowhere near the same league as you guys, so I wouldn't even dream about monetizing on Facebook Ad campaigns etc. However, I think the potential of making profit is very tempting and I might give it a shot at some stage in the future.

Let's get to the point, it might sound very silly or even down right pathetic (considering the nature of this forum etc).

I've a business that I'm trying to promote on Facebook (building audience, likes, followers). We are doing a lot of face-2-face interaction with potential customers as well.

We scheduled to lunch a new physical service/product in first week of March and I would like to gain more exposure for it and get more likes for the page/website in the process.

1. So I'm guessing, setting up a good targeted Facebook Ad campaign should be first port of call?

2. Promote the page on niche groups?

3. What is your opinion on buying likes? (after reading about it, my conclusion is, that is not as beneficial as one could think, I might be wrong)

Sorry for the late response!

1) That is NEVER a bad option ;)

2) I'd avoid niche groups and instead focus on tight targeting through your advertising.

3) I'd avoid it. Spend time building a quality audience (not only on FB but through an email list and other avenues).

- Do you recommend using scrapers like Social Lead Gold for Custom Audience Ads?
- I realize that this is unrelated but do you have any experience with bots?

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with everyone!!

1. Let's assume I own Ford and want to sell more Ford Mustangs (brand name). For the sake of this scenario we will also assume the targeted users have never heard of Ford but are highly receptive to new brands because the product type is in high demand... Would it be more beneficial to target users who like Chevrolet Camaros (competitor brand, same niche), sports cars (product type), or fans of major dealership FB pages (opposing retailers). If the answer is all three, should we target each one individually with their own ad?

2a. Should we advertise for page likes or website clicks? It feels like it's harder to reach back out to our fans. Granted we have less than 2500 fans but even still, 10-35 impressions seems unreasonably low per post.
2b. OR should we build 10 product landing pages and create 10 ads targeting differing demo's (maybe with some crossover) for site clicks within the niche and have them buy directly from the individual product landing page? Is that a better option than using the 10 ads to send them straight to the product page within the ecommerce site?
2c. Again, speaking in generalizations, would option 2b net higher conversions than using 1 ad to direct the entire demo to the homepage / a single landing page. (Whichever is more effective)

3. Should we avoid creating ads directly through our brand and personal FB pages.

Im sure I can think of a dozen more questions but I'm not looking for a babysitter and this question became unintentionally long winded lol. Tyvm for your willingness to help. We can speak on this in detail through Skype moving forward if need be.
