New sites not ranking at all

I created 5 brand new sites in oct. 2014. Started building links after 1 month. It's been 3 months now and all sites are not even in TOP 100. I don't know it's latest google update or what?

Are you experiencing the same?

and how to overcome this problem?

I did not face problems likes this, normally when I build site, make proper on site seo, internal linking, social profiles, most of the time I may see my keywords in top 50-100 without any of site seo done. Did you check if your site getting indexed by site:yousite.com ?? What type of links did you made for new site, was it new or expired domain?

My on page SEO is spot on. I have done internal linking as well. Haven't created social profiles though. All my new sites are indexed in google.

No. I just created 7-8 PBN links. But I bought 1 fiverr gig of twitter tweets and spread those tweets on all my 5 sites. Apart from that, I didn't do anything else.

Basically, I have created these sites for adsense- One main keyword and few secondary keywords. All sites "main keyword" is low in competition-2000-3000 US searches Per month.

What's the landscape on page 1? Ie, how many links do the top 10 have, what quality are they?

A good way to measure is to wait for 6 months while updating site with fresh content daily, if nothing comes up prolly needs to revamp.

Do check if site has been penalized or attracts spamz links

My experience is that... I build a MNS. and it's ranking 2nd.. my keyword is on 14th rank on google. and it's ranking 1st rank on yahoo and bing.. all my keywords are ranking 1 page on bing and yahoo. and on google they are on 2nd page..

Google Ranking is Sh*T these days. I tried on 10 sites only 2 ranked well. Now Hit and trail is going on..

Maybe you are in high competition niche where it hard for a new site to rank.

6 months are way too long to decide the course of action. If 1 site is not ranking, it may be due to some odd reason. But all 5 sites are not ranking at all from the last 3 months which is really strange and disappointing.

Doesn't matter about Page 1 rankings. All sites are not even in TOP 100.

What's the landscape on page 1? Ie, how many links do the top 10 have, what quality are they?

At least it should show up in Google-even on 200th page. Question is not of ranking.

Interesting, I came here looking to see if anyone was experiencing any thing strange with new sites too. My older sites all doing well, but i bought some of theses ready made stupidsense gigs on BHH. Normally I can rank keywords like this easy, But these particular site i bought are fluttering in and out around Here is the strange part, The are now where to be found at night, then in morning show up in Google, then yahoo an hour later then bing shortly after that, by early afternoon, gone from G, then drop off Ya and B till the next morning. # i did nothing with, 2 I pulled my normal SEO tricks. So is not that I am building links too fast. was thinking maybe footprints of the templates that service uses? I cnaged out plugins, and added more content slowly, and made sure content provided was up to great standards. All percentages are in line... just isnt it wierd they are going in and out of all three search engines daily?

I have quality content. I have a 2 word domain, even "word1word2" is just ranking on 12th on Google. It is not even getting indexed on Bing and Yahoo. It's been 2 weeks since I have published the website with few hundred social signals dripping in and 2 web 2.0 properties.

Maybe he did not make the proper research and strategy in doing the website. Site audit would be the next best thing to do. My SEO strategy in building new sites is to first optimize as much as possible everything about on-page seo - web design, content, url structure, metas, and all that. Then observe the rankings as the basis for how much linkbuilding work is needed for the site to get it to the top.
