Why did you make duplicate threads in the same section in less than an hour?

Hey Sorry mate for this, actually i posted only one time but by mistake post two times.

Please give me good suggestion for this.

Zwielicht gave you a great suggestion. Start with social media accounts and push them up. When you push up positive content, the negative content will naturally go down because Google shows 10 links per page. If you have 10 good sites on page 1, there will be no more negatives.

Zwielicht and BHopkins have given you some great advice. Get started right away on creating social media accounts and other asset sites. You can get a good starting list or sign up with Knowem to help you with this. Don't just register the accounts, actually build them out the best that you can and it will help you get those ranking better. If it is a business, you can also look into various business websites and directories. Looking at what your competition has out there is a great place to start.

Or maybe stop ripping people off :)
That's not always the case when someone has a negative review on Ripoff Report. Since anyone, including your competitor or someone envious of your success, could go on Ripoff Report and post a fabricated negative review about you or your company to ruin your reputation, this has made Ripoff Report prone to fake reviews that can damage a company's reputation.

Ripoff Report is very well aware of this, and while they claim to "never remove reviews", they have released a program called the "VIP Arbitration program". This program allows their victims to pay a third-party arbitrator (through Ripoff Report) $2,250 to review the evidence and determine whether or not the review is genuine. If the arbitrator believes your claim, the review will be redacted from the report, although there is still a chance that the arbitrator will refuse to remove the reviews.

There have been many endeavours to take the reviews down by individuals and companies both through illegal methods and through litigation, but due to the legal position Ripoff Report has in the eyes of the law (and the anonymity of the posters, making it difficult to know who to sue), these attempts have failed.

Anyone can post anything about anyone on ROR, you don't have to do anything wrong to have something posted unfortunately.

Is ROR the highest ranked review site, in your opinion? I know it's case by case because I've seen reviews on other review sites ranking higher than ROR (which also had a copy of the same complaint).

If you're in Europe, request the "right to be forgotten" to have your name removed from Google.

For most clients I have it is. PissedConsumer shows up a lot. If Yelp has negative reviews, it shows up well too. It really depends on the client. I have a client with PC at #1, ROR at #3 and yelp on page 2, it's usually the opposite.

It varies. ROR, PC and Yelp show up a lot, but I've also seen ComplaintBoard.com and ConsumerAffairs.com come up ahead of those others, even when there were listings/reviews for the company on them.

Thanks for your suggestion but all divided my thread other way. I have asked that how to down ROR form google, got few answers only.

I think black hat seo will work for down ripoff report form google, what you say???

Are you referring to using black hat SEO tactics on the RipOff Report page (negative SEO) or using black hat SEO tactics on your own pages to increase their ranking? The latter could work if you're careful and know what you are doing, although the former (negative SEO) is a terrible idea that has been attempted by other people countless times with little or no success.

To ad to what Zwielicht mentioned, if you try Negative SEO, there is a very very high chance that you will actually INCREASE the ROR rather than push it down. I wouldn't even attempt this if I were you. said

I agree totally with this. One of my most difficult clients hired someone to Neg SEO a site. The site moved from #5 to #1 and was tough to move.

Ha, I have another similar story. I had a client call me up extremely upset wanting to know why the negative result was INCREASING in the results. I did some investigative work, and turns out there were a TON of new links pointing to the negative site. Turns out, he hired someone to do negative SEO without telling me. Guess he learned the hard way with that one.

3 months ago, someone tried to negative SEO one of my websites with high OBL blog comments on irrelevant websites. At first, I was contemplating using the disavow tool, but upon further investigation, I noticed that my rankings increased for all of my keywords (one of the keywords I was targeting even moved from the second page to the first page). It's always funny when negative SEO backfires, it's such a shoddy technique anyway.

To my put two cents in ... Do not do black hat SEO on ROR, in fact best thing to do is not click on the link, and DO NOT respond.

There are a few ways to actually get google to unindex your name so you would not come up on search results, but for the most part, the best way to do it is as everyone recommends the traditional suppression method. Whatever you do, please do not respond to the ROR because it will create a new one.

And understand the site hides behind the CDA (communications Decency Act) so even if you get a Defamation of character judgement against whomever posts the ROR (assuming you can find them) the website will stop not take off the report. It is true if you are in Europe you can file a right to be forgotten, but there is some question if this will change search results on google and even if you can, you have to prove the information is not in the general interest of the public. Main thing is that many good people do get on ROR and it can destroy a business.

What I recommend is a proactive strategy aimed against ROR - building loads of positive links before a report could be filed, once it it is you need to build more positive links - my best solution is reaching out to high PR sites within your industry and asking for blogs - that promote yourself or your company. Obviously, looking at your links is critical to determine where you are at, but in a case where a client has loads of social media, an alternative approach needs to be taken.

Best of luck
