There are some products on clickbank for which if the visitor clicks the link, he/she can download the software directly. No sign-up, no payment, nothing. Direct download with the click of a button.

My question is, how do affiliates get credited for those downloads? Visitors can install and use the software right away.
Should I stay away from promoting such products?
Surprisingly those products have gravity 10+.

Anyone? Mancar?
TIA

Looks like a cpd promotion. Not sure how that works to be honest.

In other words, I wouldn't promote it.

yeah id stay far away seems a little too shady man.. ive been on clickbank for years never would promote offers like that..

I'm not sure about this either - I don't think I ever saw it on CB. If you PM me the product I'll see if I can understand what's going on.

It's a pay-per-download product Mancar, for speeding up your computer if I remember right.

It will have malware in it for sure, which means it will be pulled from Clickbank pretty quick if it is on there.

Basically, affiliates should stay clear of it IMO.

PMed :) Do have a look

Also, there are some CB products with a very long video pitch going on. Like they go for literally 90 minutes or so. But no Download button anywhere to be seen below the video.

How are the visitors sent to the download page? Only when they close the tab and they click 'Stay on the page' in the popup??
I think this is ineffective coz if a visitor has decided to leave, then he will definitely leave.
TIA.

The download button usually appears after a specific amount of time has passed (e.g., 5 minutes).

You're right about the exit pop-ups, although this shouldn't surprise you when some of the vendors on Clickbank put minimal effort into their products and landing pages (surprisingly, I've see a few major vendors employ shady methods, so they must work in some niches).
