On the hunt for a good ebook ghost writer

I've been using Epic Write, but lately they've been disappointing (because of their customer service)... Are there any alternatives out there? I know under "Content/Copywriting" forum, there's a bunch about article writers. I'm looking for writers who will do ebooks. My books range from 9,000+ words. Need long term ghost writers. I've been spending about $1.1/100 words on Epic Write (for their pro), so if anyone knows anything similar or even beating the price, please let me know!

Looking for someone who will do the research on topics I provide with unlimited revisions, and native English writer (preferred).

I'll also work with multiple ghost writers...

EDIT: Finally got a hold of Epic Write, and they said they're going to try work on my issues... In the meantime, I'm still down to look for any new writers.

OP, you do realise that if you want a professional writer then you're looking at paying $1 per word. You get what you pay for mate.

The result on their content wasn't disappointing. I should've made myself clear from the beginning...

What was disappointing is that they don't respond back to my responses. I don't have a problem with their content. If you see their thread, lots of users on BHW has been waiting for their articles for more than a few weeks. It seems like their service is dead or something.

I've bought their service for awhile now, but as of late, their TAT isn't the same...

What was said before is still valid, for that price it's surprising they bother writing 2 words a day. Personally I charge around 20-40$ per 100 words, depending on the specifics. But then agai , you seemed to be happy with the quality, soit does tell me the quality level you're looking for.

Lesson for the day is to not do math in your head. I first read it as paying $990 and thought about sending him a PM. I wrote my wife's master's thesis for her and it was far beyond 9k words and I didn't get a dime of monetary compensation for that.

Hmmmm, here is my advice to you, and this is from someone that is a journalist. Hire a professional! There are enough poorly produced ebooks around, the world doesn't need another. Even better, write it yourself. A wise man once said in this forum (can't remember who is it was) but it was along the lines of making an authority site and making sure the person who is writing the authority content actually knows the subject they're writing about. You need to adopt this.

You say that you charge around $20-$40 per 100 words, yet your signature says $8/100 words, I'm confused? Besides, you may never know, the quality of Epic Write is probably as good as your service you're providing anyways... Well I would probably know if I get a sample of your work.

I'm not looking for a service that will write everything, and just be done with it. I have a team of editors that I work with, so I'm just looking for someone who will provide a decent ebook upfront... like the guy mentioned earlier, Odesk might be best option if there's no one here that has a similar service, just broadening my resources.

I am a professional copywriter who has also written a number of ebooks over the years both for personal/business use and I have been a ghost writer many times. $1.1/100 words is simply not something that appeals unless someone wants crappy rewritten PLR with stale images, outdated content, and poor overall writing.

I am confident you will find what you are looking for though, and obviously you know your margins and the overall quality you require so if you can find it at those prices I say mad power to you. Just don't forget in your ebooks that if you are pitching services/products to be used in conjunction with the ebook content - you need a copywriter.

I can guarantee you that if you are using your ebooks to sell - you are leaving way too much money on the table by getting cheap content as opposed to working with writers who know how to sell with the written word.
