I was reading through some threads and come up with a with an idea with a little twist on it regarding Facebook Fanpages. Now I'm making this thread before I test to see if I'm on the right track and because I don't mind sharing with others if it is a good idea and it shouldn't over saturate as there are plenty of niches this could work with (If it works).

What I was thinking......

1. Go to Clickbank and find a high gravity product (20-30 is fine if the sales page looks good)
2. Find an established fan page that is relevant to the product and scrape all of the FB emails associated.
3. Create a new fanpage under a different category with the same name, profile pic, cover photo.
4. Buy a domain and create a quick wordpress site relevant to the niche and just copy and paste some articles from other sites just to add some content.
5. Create a facebook ad campaign targeting your scraped list(s) and set it up where you are paying for "Clicks to website". Once your ad is approved, re-direct your domain name to your clickbank's product page.

What flaws are in this strategy and have any of you tried anything similar?

basically, the problem is always on your #5 step..
They will find out and ban your fb ads account.
Some people are even using expensive cloackers and they get banned.
The workaround this would be just leave the wordpress page as it is, and add clickbank banners on it

What if I used prepaid visa, master cards and used multiple accounts?

Well nvm I just thought about that for a sec, that wouldn't work either.

Using scraped Facebook UIDs in facebook ads does not work any longer, if they are not users of your app.

I was talking about scraping fans off of fanpages, Go to create a custom audience and import the list of ID's.

Yes, and thats exactly what I mean and that isnt possible anymore.

Only the publishers of Apps can use the UIDs of the users of their facebook app to run ads.

Please stop listening to the NOOBS, because they have no idea what they are talking about :)

Maruenno - STOP Spreading rumors! and get your facts right!

All your steps look good, I would also recommend to put the tracking pixel from Facebook on your site so you can RETARGET your audience :)

Hendrik, I'm sorry but you are wrong.

These steps looks good, has you tested product by yourself?

It would be good if you test 2-3 offers by making a $10 budget for each, I hope ROI would be good.

Update this thread when you make ads

Thanks

"By requiring an App ID, Facebook is ensuring that Custom Audiences created only include IDs associated with people who have actually logged in or engaged with an advertiser's app."http://www.insidefacebook.com/2014/09/19/custom-audiences-update-no-more-scraping-facebook-user-ids/

I'm not talking about Apps......

I haven't tested it yet, I've found my product and setting up the wordpress site as we speak. I'll update in a couple of days!

Yes I know, but you need a facebook app to be able to add the UIDs but just test it, click on the "add list" point and you will see you will need to enter an app ID. If not show me a screenshot :D
