What is an incentivised site with 300K+ uniques per month (assume the traffic isnt faked) that only manages to break even from ad revenue worth? I won't go into specifics but it makes ad revenue but that money only recuperates the cost of the incentives. The quality for the traffic isn't that great mostly form countries other than USA/CA/UK.

Is this a worthless site? Can the sheer amount of traffic be attractive to site buyers/potential investors?

It has some value. As long as there is a reasonable chance to monetize it better, or grow it bigger people will buy it.
As to what it's worth that's hard to say, but there are quite a few sites that don't even break even that sell well on flippa.

Such buyers are looking for some serious potential, site they can grow bigger and improve, or if they have an established business in the niche they are able to use the traffic to feed their network.

I think that if the website is breaking even he is definitely worth it just for the traffic, you just have to learn how to monetize better, and increase traffic engamment, those stuffs

If this is an english site you are looking to purchase that has high volumes of traffic from indian/asian geographics then I'd be cautious, they tend to be the source of fake traffic.

It certainly isn't worthless... Obviously worth less, but it's still worth something. With that kind of traffic, even being from crappy countries, is probably worth at least mid $XXX

It's worthless... Not to be prick but most investors aren't looking for traffic, they are looking for return on investment. They have to make a profit, Or see huge potential where you don't... Best thing to do, is within those 300k. Uniques, look for revenue streams, find a product or service, and give an incentive for people to view it.. If no body buys, try something else, but you need to to ROI. Think like the investor, and instead of the marketer, and you may come up with something to offer these people.

By the way that's an opinion not a fact.

Look for some local advertisers from those countries esp. if its your resident there...

Its a decent amount of traffic, cannot believe you can reach only break even with that traffic. Just dont give up i am sure you will learn how to monetize it properly. Keep exploring.

it is not worthless if it does 300k "Uniques" which means if you do email collection, you could have at least 50k different email address and make over a million dollars.. good luck anyways!

Assuming that all of your traffic is paid, I'd try not paying for any traffic at all for a week and see what you make. It sounds like you're at the point where you don't want to keep sinking money into a break even proposition. If you make nothing from the site after a week, then the site is relatively worthless. If you at least make some money, base your valuation off of that.

Should probably be trying to monetize better by increasing ad revenue such as better ad positioning, list building, affiliate marketing etc.

To know if the website have any value I would check many things: check how the website was before with way back machine. Check the traffic with google analytics to make sure traffic is not fake. And check domain authority with MOZ and Trust Flow with Majestic SEO. You need to do your due diligence!
