I am a rather experience web designer. I just built a new website that captures leads. The keyword competition is high but 99% of the websites are weak and my website is totally optimized on-page. I know for a fact that these websites don't change much and beyond and initial SEO push, I don't think they do very much. It's an industry that takes a lot of money to succeed in so the number of competitors are low.
I don't know exactly how to start my SEO. I was thinking a little black-hat to get me ranked quickly and then a nice white-hat solution to keep me in good standing with the SEs. What I am seeing in BHW is that there are so many options that I really don't know what will be a good fit for me. At the moment, I want to stay under $100 a month until things pick up.
A quick summary: All my monitization is off page, I essentially sell the leads I get on my website. I don't sell any products, just a service.
