How does a site get banned from Google?

Hello! : )
This is my first post on here. What I wanted to know - in a succinct summary - is how to get banned by Google. Granted, there are likely legions of ways to NOT get banned. I want to know *precisely* what I need to avoid.

I think I may be very wrong about what i think is bad, and thus am overly careful, in the process limiting my SEO efforts. The more descriptive an answer the better.

Is it too many backlinks in too short a time? A lot of blogroll backlinks? Links from known SEO sites? Not drip-feeding links?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By that, do you mean getting ANY backlink services on Fiverr, or just those that are for like 25,000 backlinks?

What then, constitutes excessive spamming? Are there any general guides to this, in terms of metrics?

OP, if you intend on going WH then look at the Google Webmaster Guidelines but be prepared not to rank.
Also they can penalise/de-index/ban your site if you breach their Quality Guidelines:

I was eating lunch and a Google employee took my apple pie "because what the fuck you gonna do about it".

I got up to try and get my pie back and accidentally pushed the guy.

Two motherfuckers in black suits wearing Google glass and Chrome earpieces came out a nowhere and had me cornered while the Googler punched my stomach like a punch bag.

I passed out and woke up in Guantanamo. I can't reveal what they did to my ass back in there, all I can say is: don't fucking mess with Google employees.

Unfortunately, you don't qualify for your free Google intern at the Google Data Centres since you need a username with a character count of 14 or less. Your username has 15 characters. Sad for you.

I suggest you read their terms and conditions since they have a lot of rules. Violating them will definitely get you banned.

This is a list why your website go to google sandbox:

1. Make low quality article on your site (copy paste, error grammar, unreadable article by human)
2. Spam your new brand new site with ton of link
3. 1 variety of backlink, your link is come from 1 source only, example wordpress blog only, you must add variety of links

What this does is check the users toolbar's loaded in the web browser and if it finds the Google Employee one, it modifies the code for when they click the Ban button to instead move your site up in ranking a little by giving it actual positive votes from people who actually work at Google. It's the best thing I have ever started using on my sites.

I get it. The 'Big G' is all powerful. And its employees like to think they are, too...........!

And...they sort of are,,,at least to ppl depending upon their sites continuing to rank.

This is a good starting point for my SEO learning, I think.
