Hi guys,

It started this weekend. I have a Facebook page with 108k likes and the average reach of my posts was at least 15k. Now suddenly this Friday it dropped extremely as to 1k average per post. Do you guys have any idea how this is possible and does it maybe has something to do with the holiday season?

I'm really stressing because I make my living with this Facebook page.

I hope somebody has the answer

I think something changed with facebook, likejacker stopped working for me yesterday

I hope you find your answer, but a word of advice: you should not have your living in the hands of facebook page. Start branching out.

I have a viral nova like website, do you have any tips of other ways to get traffic?

Facebook seems to be making it harder and harder to monetize their pages...or maybe they just want more money!

Facebook's strategy is for you to buy ads from them ... so it will get worse and worse :(

This might be the end for small business owners :(

Do you think advertising to adsense pages is profitable?

Why don't you spend it on FB ads then? I know people with similar websites who use FB ads exclusively to drive traffic to their site.

ROI is still good even though you're spending money.

I'm surprised your reach was that high in the first place. Most pages get a few hundred organic in reach when they post. It's also possible that other advertisers are getting your pages audience and that's driving down your reach. But I'm not sure if that's something that can happen or not. I haven't tested it thoroughly enough.

I started out making online through facebook when I first started online marketing and I highly stress that you should take the advice of others on here and branch out. You don't own that fanpage, Facebook does. If they want to they will take it from you or take the page down completely.

Small business always has struggles. But Facebook is kinder to those kinds of places than you'd think.

Like are you afraid to spend money on your article content? I believe the answers are in front of you... Spend money on FB advertising to continue the traffic push... You must have been getting away with not paying for traffic for a long while...

If the content is commercial or the page has been marked as for-profit, you'll be throttled to oblivion. Reach is dismal.

Dont listen to those that tell you that "you're going into oblivion".

Keep posting, and focus on quality. It will eventually come back.

My Page is for Local Technology & Freelance News Portal. At first I used FB ads for getting likes. This was my biggest mistake. I have another page its growing so fast. So its shitting me now.
