Amsterdam shooting. So what's going on ?

I am going tomorrow in holidays with my gf, to Amsterdam. I just woked up today, and wanted to check what's the weather like in Amsterdam, and used the News & Weather app from android. Typed Amsterdam and I was surprised to see a good weather but also 4 crime/shooting news for Amsterdam, and I was like wtf ??

This is my second trip to Amstredam, the first one being around 5 months ago, and it was awesome! I haven't seen anything suspecious nor related to crime (I am not a detective, but just saying), so everything was OK, even better than I thought.

If somebody lives in Amsterdam, please comment, and let's see what's really going on.
Is it safe to travel there ?

I'm from the Netherlands and I know you will definitely be safe in Amsterdam. The people who are murdered and will be murdered are people in the underground drug business. As long as you avoid these people and don't show up in the 'Bijlmer' you'll be fine.

it is a well established fact that on this forum any religion or race should not be mentioned in an assoication with terror. I know you were talking about it in a comic way. But people related to muslim religion have been offended or atleast I am offended. Maybe they do not want to complain because they might think it bad for business.
