How do you obtain low competition keywords? Besides adword keyword planner? I do not know how to go there

I'm guessing that your blog is better than mine lol. I'm not really updating the blog religiously because it is for my own diary. If you keep on doing what you are doing right now, you might get better PR less than a year

@Jobdollarr- I get low competition keywords by using keyword shitter to get keyword ideas, then I use keyword revealer to get searches per month and a general idea of what competition will be. Then I use open site explorer and ahrefs to analyse the keywords further by checking metrics such as link quality, PA and DA. Keyword research can take awhile but it's worth it if you do it right. I'm still not the best at it but I'm learning...

@WeFinesse- I am currently testing different methods for monetizing so earnings aren't there yet. I will update this thread when I figure out what I'm going to do for sure

Currently I am getting around 800 visitors to my blog most of the traffic is still coming from my 14 youtube videos but still seeing a little traffic from google search, bing and facebook (people are sharing my videos on facebook so I guess that's where that traffic comes from.) My youtube channel now has over 500 subscribers and over 70K views. I have 13 posts on my blog currently and I will try to write 6 more posts today and upload 7 more videos.

Content alone, not possible, waste of time, will never work!!

If you do research, why are there still tons of Autoblogs ranking, outranking the original source??? This is why Google wants you to turn them in even promotes to rat them out??

Spinned content still ranking. Sites with very little content or a very little amount of text. I'm talking a sentence or two.

Still ranking?? I used to be big on content also. I have to see to believe otherwise I call Bull on everyone of these threads. Its a computer algorithm.


Unless they are checked manually by an Google employee and he says dam! This is a nice blog! Maybe we should give it a lift don't think so.

Google is just not that good yet. It is coming one day though.

You and your negativity can exit my journey LOL How can you say it doesn't work when I know I'm getting traffic (albeit it's not much) from google and bing. I'm not saying I'm going to rank first for all keywords I'm targeting but I will rank for some keywords. Like I mentioned before, proper keyword research is a must also. Target the right keywords and I think it's fully possible to rank first page. Just because there are some blogs/ websites ranking with no/spun content does not mean that content alone no longer works.

@SeoDemon Lol well I do agree on that but it depends... In order to get traffic from search engines, you have to be ranking for something. I can see that I'm getting traffic from search engines (google and bing)

For content, is it okay to post 500 words for each post? (content will be bought here at BHW marketplace)

and then after there is a shop menu at my blogspot leading to my ecommerce amazon store?

Is that comment for me? If so, I cant do 2k daily for now because i have a very tight budget. What would be the best, Buy a Word AI or just buy Tier1 articles which cost $0.50 per 100 words?

@himanuzu Lol I lied. Definitely not putting 2K words of content per day but I try to at least do 2K per week.

Update: I've still been posting content though it's very little. Not really seeing an increase in traffic I think I need to layout my articles better and incorporate keywords better. That is what I will be working on this week.

The good news is I'm still working with youtube. Honestly, this is the best experience I've had with youtube ever. I've got over 1000K subscribers all naturally. And over 150K views to my channel, again, all organically. I have a little over 40 videos up and they are pulling some pretty decent traffic.

Also I've implemented a monetization method for my blog that I'm just testing at the moment. So far I've earned about $30 over this week. I'm still brainstorming new ideas for monetizing.
