Is it possible you cleared the cache on your search history? Maybe logged out of your gmail and your site was only ranking in your preferred search?

Traffic went from 100-200 visits per day to ~5. It's not a problem on my side that's for sure.
 
same here for one main keyword of mine.
#3 to #100+

i was shocked at first, but later i checked with other tools,location,browsers and device.... everything shows dancing.... #1 to #100+

finally i'm standing at #1 after the heart attack i got. jk.

P.S. i never seen a huge visitor drop in this dancing session.
 
Google in general is completely insane lately.... I tried submitting an app to Google Play the other day -100% original, made from scratch, no copyrighted names, no images violations , no keywords stuffing, nothing illegal, 100% made by me and my guys - got banned in in an hour for "violating intellectual properties" . WTF Google!
 
OP did you have any down time or network problems?

If this site is 100% white hat, do you use webmaster stools?

Exactly... I hate being in the mercy of google, but I guess that's the game.
 
Don't pay attention to what the other guys are doing, just because your competitor has 5,000 spam links doesn't mean he's gonna suffer the same fate as you.

From the sound of it the links that you have built are crappy and low quality. Those type of links shouldn't rank anything.

Keep in mind too that PBN's work, paid links also work, and other BH methods. Just because they can cause you a penalty doesn't mean they aren't effective. You are just playing with fire at that point.

Long story short, build better links.

It's actually on two sites. One I haven't built any links to in a long time and it held 4th place for a while. I also never used the anchor text that ranked for 4th. Still doesn't mean that it would dropped off the face of the earth.

Also to anyone saying that building web 2.0s for a low comp niche isn't effective you might want to try it yourself.

I wont drop my domain or anything, I'll wait and see, meanwhile I've added a few YT links.
