It is optional but I recommend you do as it will make it easier for us to hand out bonuses and prizes should you be eligible.

Hey Mancar,

I'd love to hop on this one. You've taught me a lot about AM, so I'd like to help you some too. Please send me a PM!

TWO IMPORTANT UPDATES:

1. Exit Pop-Ups with Discounts -
Although we do not usually like to offer discounts on our products (as our products ARE very high quality and deserve the full price), we have listened to our affiliates' suggestions and have implemented an exit pop-up offering $10 discount to visitors who are closing the page without purchasing. For a very limited time, we have implemented a second pop-up, offering another $10 discount. This will mean that conversion rates are about to skyrocket (although the $/sale will obviously be lower if the customer purchases the product at $27 or $17). However, we wanted EVERYBODY to be able to claim the bonuses and prizes in time for Christmas, and lowering the prices so much will ensure that ANYONE who sends traffic to our page WILL GET SALES and will be eligible for all the bonuses and prizes that we are giving away!

Do note, however, that some PPC platforms do not allow pop-ups. If you are using such platforms, you will need to use a custom affiliate link to direct visitors to a landing page without such pop-ups. Please visit our affiliate page for this link or get in touch with me if you need help.

2. Cloaking -
We have implemented an in-house script to cloak hops automatically (it will not show ?hop=yourclickbankID in your address bar). This increases conversion rates. However, rest assured that your hops are still being passed on. To check, click 'order', and you'll see your hoplink in small text at the bottom of the order page.

Go Bank!

And below another one: utilise - should be utilize.

That's not a typo - both "utilise" and "utilize" are correct spellings of the word; but the former is more common on the right side of the atlantic while the latter is the prevalent form used on the left of the pond. If we had to be pedantic, I would argue that "utilise" is the more correct form as it's origins are from the French word "utiliSer"...

No problem mate, I appreciate you taking the time to point them out :)

Thanks to your support, we are already ranked Clickbank's #2 product in the addiction niche.

As a way to thank you, and to provide another incentive for you to promote this great product (and hence help us reach #1), we are announcing a new bonus:
Each affiliate who makes at least ONE SALE from the 25th December to the 25th January will be entered into a draw to win a MacBook Air 13.3" (or $1,000 in cash). You read right - the only requirement for you to have a chance of winning this is to make a single sale between the 25th Dec to the 25th Jan - no other requirements or catches whatsoever. Each sale will be counted as 1 ticket, so the more sales you make, the more chance you'll have at winning this.

Our product is the perfect product to promote at this time, as many people will make a New Year's Resolution to end their addictions and make their life better.

This new bonus is on top of the $75 new affiliate bonus and the competition to win $7,500 (see terms on affiliate page).

Grab your banners, articles, free report, landing page etc... from our affiliate section and start promoting TODAY.

Wishing you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year,
Mancar & Team

Good news with the new contest.

I have a question. Did you try/think about creating a VSL and split testing to see which converts best? I see more and more top products rely on VSLs and eventually, when leaving the page, redirecting to the sales letter. I know a good VSL could cost $10k+, but maybe you can consider this in a upcoming future.

We did - see post number 8 on this very thread.

The text copy out-converted the VSL; moreover, when we researched other products in the niche we found out that indeed in the addiction niche, text based copy does much better than video 9 out of 10 times.

Our marketing guys think that this may be due to the fact that there is a certain amount of shame that addicts tend to feel; hence, a video narrating out loud problems caused by their addiction is likely to be switched off FAST (they wouldn't want whoever is near - coworkers, family, people at the coffee shop - to hear this).

Oh, sorry, don't know how I missed that. I had the impression I read the whole thread, but I guess I was in a hurry and I read it diagonally.

Well, it's nice that you split tested so many variants and you found this one to convert best. If only other CB vendors were to split test and optimize their campaigns for better conversions as you do. I'm promoting a product which is quite needed fast by the guys that are searching for that on google and get there, so there's a lot of buying intent, but it converts 1 out of 200 clicks, which bugs the s..t out of me, because I know they can improve the sales page, but they didn't reply to my emails. Whatev, it's a product I'm promoting for 2 years now and it still converts decently, so I don't mind continuing promoting it, but I just say it would be nice for vendors to get involved into improving the sales page after launching the product.

Back to your product, though. Contrary to what other guy said in post 6 or 7 about your sales page which looks like `90-ish, I think it is quite good. I read a bit through it, I like the headlines, the horror story, it highlights pain points right from the beginning, quite nice.

I'll send you a PM to ask you a few questions.

Happy new year everybody!

Can you suggest me some idea / method to promote this product? waiting for your reply.

Have you ever thought about translating your e-Book and affiliate tools to reach more people? I myself am from Germany and read recently that Germany is one of the countries in Europe with one of the highest numbers concerning alcohol addiction.

Happy new year everybody!

Yes indeed, many vendors see split-testing as just an extra 'cost' but we see it as 'investment'. The key to be successful in every business is to think long term, not short term. Sure, you can say that we lose money on the versions of the page that we end up not using (as split test results show that these do not perform best)...we also "lose money" in the first months because we give lots of bonuses and we end up giving our affiliates more money than they make for us...but this is only short term. In the long term, we get a base of loyal affiliates promoting a product with a sales page that CONVERTS. And that's how we are successful in this.

Can you suggest me some idea / method to promote this product? waiting for your reply.

If you are new to CB I suggest you read through:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...hoose-cb-products-newbies-5-minute-guide.html

It started as a thread about choosing CB products, but has now evolved into a discussion about everything CB-related, including promotion methods and techniques. Feel free to PM me too.

Yes we have :) We are currently still accumulating data on foreign markets and will be working on translations if we see there is the demand. Thanks for the tip re Germany!

Best wishes to a successful new year,
Mancar

I finally learned a good things last week reading an article on a marketing blog saying that no matter how much money you lose on an initial campaign, you shouldn't think about this as "losing money", you should rather think about it as "spending money to get some data about that specific campaign" and the best thing is that the first campaign you create is usually the worst of all and from there on, you'll only get it better by optimizing it. That's why I decided to spend some more money on PPC campaigns even though I "lose money" initially, but in the long term, by optimizing them, I can actually make them profitable.

The same principle applies to split testing and other tests for improving conversions.

Of course, this is just theory for me, because I'm still in the phase of losing money on the initial campaign, but hopefully very soon I'll get enough data to allow me to optimize at least one campaign to make it profitable :)

Hi,
I will for sure promote this offer... Can you suggest me your best advertising method to generates more sales as possible? :) btw I can't PM you yet :/
