Terrorists Holding People Hostage In Sydney, Australia

I work at Martin Place part time, and live a mere 5 minutes from the city ! Such a tragedy , There saying 2 are confirmed dead including gun-man. What is happening to this world.

That's what they did when I was a kid. Sadly, they don't do that much any more.

Alot of countries have lost common sense when it comes to immigration laws. Economic, City Planning and Public Safety are now "thrown away" when the laws are made.

Even in Australia there has been incidents similar to this or more violent every few years.

Looks like it's all over now. Two hostages dead and the gunman shot down by police. Back to work!

Sad shit all the way around these terrorist are crazy mother hubbards man and i feel sorry for the people who had to go thru this ordeal how awful.

It looks like it was taken care of very well. Props to Sydney.

I'm not so sure.

In the footage I saw, there were a lot of shots being fired, there are 2 hostages dead and 7 or 8 injured - and I didn't hear a single shotgun shot (which was the hostage taker's weapon).

I hope I am wrong, but it sounds like something went wrong.

R.I.P. to those that lost their lives from an act of hate. I hope those that were held captive can get their lives back on track soon. I hope the Australian people can see past this act of hate and realise that he was not a Muslim, he was a lunatic with a gun.

Who shot the hostages? I can't find that anywhere.

The terrorist wanted media coverage, looks like Australia negotiates with terrorist the whole damn world knows about this hostage situation.

The media like people like yourself, So nieve and have no idea and believe anything they see on the News, The Australian government did not give in once with any of the requests or negotiate with the gun-man. And had no choice but to enter the building and free the rest of the hostages and had to shoot. RIP to the two hostages who have passed away.
