Why isn't there a post count requirement in the MarketPlace section?

Every marketplace thread is literally crawling with fake reviews from accounts with 2-3 posts such as "Ordered" or asking a few questions to bump the thread/etc.

Why don't we only allow users to post who have many more posts. So reviews are genuine. It's very suspicious when you look through a thread and you only see noobs with 2-3 posts review and rare "ordered" posts from reputable members. Very rarely you see an actual review.

Having to pm every reputable member who said "Ordered" is a bit hard, so I think if we only allow reputable people to review it will allow to separate shit threads from not so shit threads or even good threads. This will make sellers to provide better quality and ask for reviews.

Meanwhile if noobs have a question they can always PM the seller and ask them in private.

Yes, BUT what if the only post he makes is on your sales thread asking a question etc ... Both my sales threads have a variety of different members who ask questions or post reviews etc ...

its a very delicate subject ..

Maybe a new button for marketplace threads, same as the like button except its an 'Ordered' button. So everyone who paid for the service clicks the ordered button, then ban users from posting useless crap, thus maybe leaving only review posts, or mostly review posts.

If you dont see any useful reviews you could pick a person from the 'Ordered by' list and pm them to ask what their experience was like.

I have a few clients, whose business names you and most others probably know, that have accounts here that almost never log in. I'm sure others do as well.

If we are doing something positive for them, they may want to chime in and post something positive about their experiences.

I don't know that it would be appropriate to not allow them to post if they are not regulars here but are spending money on a service offered here.

Maybe the sellers have a different opinion, but from the buyers point of view(My personal) I think this would be a better way. Considering the sales threads are for the buyer.

Some of the sellers are buyers also; I usually like to spend my money in my home town and this qualifies for that to a certain extent.

I'm with you on the aspect of fake reviews though... I'd love to see a way for them to get tossed out with the bath water. I do not know how that could be implemented, as I'm just not that smart, but it would be super if there was a way to vett them without taking all kinds of Mod time.

This is a good point. I sometimes feel like buying a service then I look for these fake-reviews and if I see them I decide not to buy. But because I don't buy it doesn't mean the service was bad - they all "Have to" do it because if they don't their thread will never take off. But if they were all not allowed to do that it would be a nicer place because they would have to concentrate on providing services and not marketing/fake reviews

There should be a Review Section split into bad/good review so people can just read the bad reviews and make up their mind.

Actually, a lot of potential buyers are from those 1-2 posts members, they are usually from big corporation or real action takers that do not care much about posting here.

Are they real? Yes they are very real with great indepth understanding of the subject, but they are no way active to the main forum

I agree to this, even being new, its hard to filter out the real and the fake reviews.

All "ordered" and "review" posts should have a reference number that proves they ordered the product.
