BlackhatWorld Mobile Website - NO APP NEEDED - VERY USEFUL

Good news, you can actually use BHW on your mobile phone without TOPIFY or Tapatalk (even though that was removed) and it's very functional.

BlackhatWorld Mobile Website - The most USEFUL function you never even knew about.

Most of you probably don't know that it's possible and available to iPhone and Android:

Step 1.
Visit BHW in "desktop" via your mobile app (it may popup with Topify download splash screens, just close them)


Step 2.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the menu option in the bottom left.


Step 3.
From the roller menu, scroll down and select "default mobile style"


Step 4.
Enjoy a full mobile friendly version of BHW.


Step 5:
Bookmark the page in your mobile browser and then simply... enjoy BHW on your mobile in a simple, well formatted mobile site.

Small update:
After speaking with a few people in person they told me they use the forum less since Tapatalk access was removed from BHW, I found this option when digging about for a responsive alternative as it's a default Vbulletin option, just not publicised on the forum.

It's now my go to mobile forum (although I don't post so much) :burnout:

I prefer to use the main site and scroll/zoom myself, but that's how I am with all sites really.

This. The reason is because the "Mobile" version of most vBulletin forums doesn't have a lot of the functionality the full version has. Try checking how many people have "Thanked" you in the mobile version. These things are important to me.

Wow, so much tension here.

I didn't say it was the best thing in the world, I didn't say it was better, I didn't say it was worse... It's just an alternative option that's available for free, that's all. Not everybody can be master of the universe and know everything in the world already like you.

Some people like it, some don't, most people I spoke to weren't aware it was even an option so thought I'd share it, those that tried it liked it. It's a nice easy way to consume BHW content on the go IMO especially when using a mobile phone one handed, for example on busy public transport, when pinch and zoom isn't very practical.

I was just sharing a feature that people I met said would be useful to know about.

Do you understand the difference between "I guess most people" and "Most people". The first is an assumption, the second is a statement. You see I did not take a survey, I was merely guessing that it is not such a big deal to most people, as when you open BHW in a normal mobile browser, it is more than easy to use. Therefore I guess most people are not that interested in a mobile version, however that is just my guess.

Well... if we're talking semantics, then yes, clearly I understand the difference. However, I think you might be struggling a little. Let me explain...

If you are to "guess" or make an assumption in a thread where you've already clearly stated your preference, this is a completely pointless exercise, especially when your personal preference is against the proposed suggestion of the overall thread, this doesn't actually add any value whatsoever to the casual reader of this thread other than to let people know that Mr "Micky Fu" doesn't like to use the mobile version - Well great, thanks for that but... Mr Micky Fu isn't actually the center of the universe and let's be honest... That information is not actually useful to anyone at all... Especially when you've said it three times in the one thread.

All this does is simply add to your post count or "noise" on the forum, which some might argue makes you look better, when you're actually just spouting out nonsense like this and not really providing any value to the thread other than provide or shout about your own personal assumption, preferences and opinion to something you're adverse to anyway. To which may I add you seem to be busy doing across this entire forum.

To your reply and attempt at trying to sound slightly smarter... Obviously you didn't "take a survey" because that would imply you actually took part in one, which would in-turn imply you were part of your own survey segment of which your guess of "most people" would be biased towards a non-mobile based site given your personal preference to:

I'm all for opinions, and I feel you really should take your own advice, I'm not sure if you noticed but this was what I was saying all along:

forums are places where people share opinions, and often that opinion may not agree with yours.

MrApricot gave his opinion for example, but the difference here was that he wasn't trying to be a smart ass like you.
He also didn't need to tell the thread three times that Mr Micky Fu likes to "enlarge it with his fingers" every opportunity he could, which was really valuable advice.


As for me saying "click on thanks" I actually removed that as you replied, I was editing the post, but I wasn't quick enough to remove it before your mass spam as many posts on BHW as possible mission crossed over my small thread and within seconds...
