Case Study Continued: Tier 2 Link Building

Totally sorry about forgetting to hit the "thank you". I've gone ahead and done so. PM me your paypal details. I've got $50 with your name on it just as a thank you. And, i'm definitely taking you up on the 3 month follow up. i'm thinking of setting up a PBN now for a new money site that i plan on launching in March which i'm also planning on making a long term deal and will be scouting good affiliates.

Thanks for that :-) Tell you what. Keep your $50 until the 3 month mark and if the information I can share is worth that, then who am I to refuse :-)

I'm also thinking PBN for long term site... however I've also become conflicted. It probably takes less time and effort to get real and good guest posts on decent websites than it does to build a blog network. You're going to pay $200 for a good domain, then more for content. For $300 I can get good guest posts on related blogs where the people have 5-6 digit FB, Pinterst and G+ followers that they promote to. Starting to change my mind on that. I think the best ROI up front might be guest posting, while afterwards using PBN to push inner pages you're interested in. Just something going through my mind.

Cheers

Thanks, appreciate the effort that went into this post. Learning more everyday.

Why would you pay $200 for a good domain? I have just build a PBN of 34 sites ranging from TF 10 to TF 41 (this is the only metric i take serious) for under 300 dollars, content is about $150, hosting is a view bucks because i have that already in place but lets say you don't you'll be looking at a extra $50- per month

Now 34 sites may not look as much, but for the local niches i am in it is perfect, i have tried guest posting, but i never made a good ROI on it, maybe it is the niche that i am in (home improvement) or my content or whatever but i haven't enjoyed the benefits that a lot of people seem to have.

I will pick a small real PBN over guest posting any time of the day :)

Well sir! That's what I've seen the niche relevant domains I've wanted going for on Godaddy auctions. However, you seem to have a method for finding domains that I haven't acquired. Tell you what. If you want to share your method with me via PM, I'll share some stuff about this case study I haven't published that you will definitely like. Fire me a PM if you're interested.

As far as guest posting goes, I don't think it's for local niches. Local niches are fairly small, and easy enough to dominate without too much relying on more expensive methods like guest posts I would imagine.

Hey Xha,

Glad to see your second Tier 2 experiment was a success and shed some light on what works.

I hit the thanks button as well haha

It sure was a success... much more so than I was expecting. I was expecting some variation between the results, but not for one service to so thoroughly spank all the other services.

Also about the thanks thing... pretty sure that's just post count boosting for a lot of people here. That's why I get annoyed when I see low count people posting those ;-) I'm not this grumpy in real life lol.

When you ordered the lover-s blogpost service then did you get 1500 links or 4500? And on how many different web 2.0-s those links were divided on?

Thanks man! I appreciate your candor and honest advice.

I have a few legitimate websites where i own the product. hit me up if you're ever looking for something to add to your affiliate portfolio.

i'll follow up with you in a few months.

Hi

I actually ordered 2 of his 750 blog post packages. That's a total of 1500 blog posts. However lover let's you post 3 links maximum per blog post. If you take advantage of this it is an effective 4500 PR links which is a pretty sweet package. Does that answer your question?

That said, it will be interesting to see how long my web 2.0's last.

Hi,

What do you mean by that specifically?

When you say, 'how long they will last' do you mean the web 2.0 service will delete your blog? Or that google will see it as spam and render it useless? If it's the latter, how do you know?

Thanks

SK

What I meant was how long they will last in the Google index. I don't think throwing links at a Web 2.0 affects my deletion rate, but it will definitely affect my Google indexing. I'm going to watch to see how long these web 2.0's last in the Google index, and maybe come up with an idea of the longevity.

Thanks for the reply.

I had no idea that google de-indexed anything unless there was a severe enough reason (penalty etc...)

AWESOME job. This kind of stuff helps a lot. Thanks for sharing :clap2:

I'd like to know if your website is still ranking after using pbn posts from lover. Thanks

I tested the network. It seems to be quite weak. I am not expert but it seems that GSA or Zsubmitter have pretty much the same power as this network. But this doesn't mean it should be used. The positive side is that posted articles are quite good, for example.

I used it on money site directly and my rankings didn't increase significantly. A 2.4K keywords got from nowhere to #150 and i do not consider this a success. Another keyword with 600 searches per month ended up on #70.

Shouldn't the pbn links by lover be used to boost your tier1s and not directly to your money site?
Try using them as a tier 2 with high quality tier1 links and let us know if you see any significant improvement.

They are used for lower tiers because they can get sites banned, and they hardly can get web 2.0 banned in Google. It is safer to use them on web 2.0 but then the link juice to money sites would be even lower.

So such links short term work better if pointed to money site.
