Local directories verification

When I do local submission to directories, yelp, citysearch, etc... I need to first call the client, than hit submit on the form from citysearch and ask the client to confirm it or give me the number.

Does anyone know of any easier method? Is there some kind of call forwarder or anything that can be easier?

Create a [email protected] account, use it for the citations, and verify all the citations. After verification, when you go in to optimize the individual citation listing, change the e-mail address to the customer's proper business e-mail address. Always use this e-mail when you do things for this customer, and all your stuff for this customer will be in the same place.

I even create a different user account in my computer for each customer so all the accounts, passwords, and such stay separated from other customers.

Never use g-mail for link building communications. Citations are no sweat.

You just have to deal with the phone calls by coordinating it with your client.

I use this same method. I start building the citations before I can get my clients email service done. Once the citations are built, I just go in and edit the email + add the additional citation data.
