Video sales pages do not work well for addictions, as the target group value their privacy about them seeking help. Many of these are looking up for solutions while at home with other family members nearby, on mobile devises in public places, etc... We split tested this before launching and found that a video sales page resulted in a high bounce rate and low converions.

Update: We have just re-designed the page as a result of a private small-batch split test which showed our new design almost doubled conversion rates - we're expecting this to be replicated on all affiliate traffic so watch out for some serious sales

For those who have been asking me for an update:
The product has been picking up steam well. It is currently converting at 1 sale per 31-55 hops (this week's stats), which is more or less 1 sale per 40 visitors, and we're constantly working on enhancing it.
We have changed the price from $47 to 37 as split testing showed that the increase in volume with the cheaper price offsetted the drop in avg $ per sale; hence actual income is higher with 37 than 47.
Currently, practically all the sales are coming from PPC, youtube, pinterest, facebook and forums, as the guys working on organic traffic have not starting ranking in google yet (ranking properly is a slow process, unless one opt for churn and burn sites which I do not recommend). It is better to rank slowly and stick there, rather than shoot to the top only to be penalized a few weeks later.
We've already handing out several $75 new affiliate bonuses and I can confirm that we'll keep offering this bonus to new affiliates who start promoting this. The $7,500 contest is still open and a new comer could easily claim top spot with a well targeted email blast.
We have also been regularly receiving emails from customers thanking us for providing such a comprehensive and effective treatment, because unlike other crappy cb ebooks, our system is SO MUCH MORE than just an ebook and actually DOES WHAT WE PROMISE ON OUR PAGE. To us, this gives us pride in our work. To you, it means practically zero refunds and more cash in your pocket.
