Will I get any power from 301 redirect?

2 months but I decided to stay away from this... because it's my authority site and I dont want to play with gentelmans from Google... Anyway, thank you all guys for helping me to solve this out...
Good decision, perhaps you can try to set up a website with the domain and link from there to your website.

Hey xlcrash,
Just ran across this thread and see that you need some help regarding 301's so hopefully this clears up some confusion!
In a nutshell here is a rough break-down on various 301 strategies and outcomes
1. If the domain is CLEAN and has no previous manual penalties or algo penalties then GO AHEAD and 301 it to your new money site. It will take roughly a couple weeks for the 301 to fully transfer all the power to your money site and should transfer around 80-90% of the link-juice after all is said and done!
*You can set-up the 301 via your htaccess, cpanel or even via GMT. My personal suggestion is via your cpanel but using WMT usually speeds it up.
2. If the domain is NOT CLEAN, then after a certain time, could be a month, could be 2 months, the penalty from the 301 WILL BE passed onto your money site.
So what I suggest is to check out the quality of the backlinks, also prior transfering it would be good to add some relevant content on the 301 site, build some relevant backlinks and THEN 301 it. This way the 301 has both content and anchors that match up with your money site.
