Hey. I installed the new version that you emailed me, but it still didn't work. Is this something that can be fixed or shall we proceed with a refund? Would love to use your plugin if it can work.

Hey, i don't see any update info in my wordpress also. even if i restart the plugin.
I have a problem to get this working too. I installed the newest version of PHP which i could and still plugin settings page is empty.
Which version of PHP do u use?

It sounds like it's an issue with the hosting. It could be that they are blocking the script from running. What web host are you using?

The plugin works fine on 99% of all hostings.

The lowest license version we offer is the 20 site license at $47. As a few people have asked a similar question I'll clear this up here. We don't offer a lower license version of the plugin than that one and we're unable to offer a single site license for $2 or give a 30 day free trial.

Yes, it's working fine. It always has worked fine. The only issues for the plugin were caused by some customers running on hosting with an outdated version of PHP or an outdated version of WP. Some themes can also cause issues with the plugin but due to the 10,000's of themes available it's impossible for us to test every single one of them with the plugin.

We have just released the updated version of the plugin that has some extra features added to it. They are self explanatory but I haven't finished the user video guide for the new version yet. I wanted to get the update out as soon as possible.

All current customers can get the update by going to the plugins section of their WP admin where you should see the update for the Like Jacker plugin. If the update isn't showing please deactivate and then reactivate the plugin which will prompt it to check for the update.

You will then be able to update the plugin from the "update plugin" link that will appear next to it.

The new features include:

• Being able to choose multiple times of the day to turn the plugin on and off.
• Geo target the traffic that you want to Like Jack
• Choose a range of IP's that you don't want to have that traffic Like Jacked
• The plugin will now use the URL of the page/post of the blog as the default URL to get the Like for if you don't enter one for each page/post.

For each page and post of your blog you can choose a different website URL or FB page to have the Like for. This allows you to get Likes for multiple FB pages from just one of your blogs.

If you don't enter any URL for this the plugin will use the URL of your blogs post/page to get the Like for.

mate, can we get the option back to asign a fb page as default. Just updated and unless im missing something i must go through all my content and asign a fb page to like!! This blows

Only in activity log. What is the point of this? Nobody else is looking at my activity log, hell even I don't look at my activity log. So what is the value in using this to promote an outside URL?

FB chooses where the Like appears and we can't control FB placing the Like in the activity log rather than the wall of the user. Getting likes for a website will help when it comes to social signals in Googles algorithm.

Getting Likes for a FB page gives great results as you can reach FB users that you have Like Jacked.

Each way that you use the plugin has value. If getting Likes on websites had no value then no one would be interested in getting them but, as we know, website owners put a lot of effort in to getting Likes for their sites.

Thanks you. Shez's customer service was outstanding, and although the like jacker didn't work based on my website theme, I have no doubt that it can do wonders for others.

Version 1.0.8 has just been released and is now available to all current customers.

If the update isn't showing in the plugins page of your blogs admin section try to deactivate and reactivate the plugin. If no update shows after that then please check your email inbox as we have resent all customers an email with a new download link and their license code for the Jacker plugin.

This updates see's a few small bug fixes and a better user interface on the settings page.

The user video guide for this version will be available shortly and I will post a link to it on the thread as well as sending customers a link via email to it.

For now, I would like to point out that for the Geo targeting settings, where it asks for the country code of the countries you DON'T want the Jacker to to get likes from, a list of country codes can be found at

Remember, the country codes you put in to the settings of the plugin are the countries that you DON'T want to get Likes from

Hi, the plugin isn't coded for that at the moment and it would need a different plugin to be made for that purpose. I'll ask the coder to see about this.

Hi, we don't have one for Twitter following at the moment. That process is very different from FB Like jacking but it's something that the coder is looking at for future product releases.

I suggest you cover up all traces, the first thing would be looking at the site source and your plugin fails to disguise itself. Please fix this asap.
