There is nothing wrong with your account. We have our reasons why we don't allow VISA transactions for a very small number of our vendors in the ****** niche, and existing subscription were cancelled, and as a business decision quite a few refunded. These measures are in place to protect our business and that of our clients. There are costs and penalties due to high chargeback rates involved that is driving our action in this matter.

You're promoting a junk product (most likely a 'make money online' or 'forex' one), hence why you have so many refunds.

Or, the fault lies not with the product but with your advertising tactics (e.g. making claims that the vendor does not make).

My advice is to stop whatever you're doing, and pin point the problem.

The product, niche, advertising method, claims you made about the product, etc.

Because with that many refunds you're doing something seriously wrong.

I have the same problem. I've been promoting this product for over a year and then today I saw this:

Clickbank has refunded and cancelled v.i.s.a. subscriptions. Something to do
with their merchant account. We have gotten very little information from
them on this. This week we heard that on Nov 17 clickbank will no longer
allow investigation products on the network. No more new sales will be
processed. Rebills will be processed on everything but v.i.s.a.(we think). This
is obviously unfortunate and we are confused and hurt by the treatment
Clickbank has given us after being a premier vendor with them for many
years.


I'd like you to you continue promoting my offers through revenuewire. We
have seen conversions and retention to be higher than clickbank anyway. All
the same tools are there so you just need to change your links.

They now seem to be retroactively refunding all Visa transactions for the past 90 days. I was negative for last week and would not be surprised if I remain so for the next few weeks or so until the backlog is clear, which may in turn cause the account to become flagged as a high risk account in need of some punishment, albeit perhaps not a permanent one. I'm not sure they will necessarily refund everything, but I would be prepared for that as a worst case scenario.

Were they investigation products? Clickbank appears to be stopping all these products; my guess would be that it's cause they can fall in a regulatory grey area.

Yes, it is that specific niche. No problem with anything else I am promoting. My take on the situation was that they got threatened by Visa (could be chargebacks/refunds or also regulatory concerns are a plausible explanation) and are now taking the action proactively to avoid the same problem with the other card issuers.

It's not the situation that's funny, it's Clickbank (I really need to choose better gifs). They just issue impromptu refunds without warning any of their affiliates, especially the affiliates who rely on this niche for income, about the change.

So they are not allowing Visa because of high chargeback rates that are plaguing their business? If that's the case, do you plan on staying with Clickbank even though it has affected your own business or will you be switching to a new affiliate network?
