Thanks for your tips man I've been looking to get started here
No problem, glad to help
Good luck with it
Where do you find all the articles for your rewriters?
That's the one piece of info I'm not wanting to give out. I will say that I get them online and don't mess around with going to libraries and scanning old books or some of the other methods ie: foriegn sites then throwing them through Googl translator etc.
I found those methods time consuming and pretty innefective.
Just look online, there's plenty of content out there
I'm not sure, redtide1969 - like I said before, it's been awhile since I used it. From what I remember, socialmarker takes the bookmark you created to ea. site you checked off & posts them. I hope that helps.
Thanks XRay, as soon as I have time I'm gonna give them a try. It's just so freakin time consuming setting up all the registrations lol.
Thanks again for the share!
Thanks for your very informative thread. In one of my former careers I was a writer. I have often felt like $2-$4 per article is a slap in the face (especially when a good magazine pays $1/word or more), which is why I've avoided AC thus far. $2-4 for rewrites per the method you've outlined though, not bad once things add up.
No problem werrich,
I totally agree, I personally wouldn't write these myself for that amount. But outsourcing rewriters and then scaling up can be pretty effective. Don't get me wrong it's still alot of work ie: scraping online originals for the rewriters, editing, checking that they pass copyscape, checking keyword density, adding sources, dealing with the pain in the a** AC site glitches during submission of the articles etc. But it's still worth it
Good luck if you decide to dive into it
OK, I thought I'd add another tip I use. I guess we'll call this the tip of the day...
I already talked about "calls for content" and how much more you can make by writing them for AC's partner sites ($10-$20 per 400 word article) Today they have 2 available (1 on the housing market, 1 on Obama's speech about sending jobs overseas) Anyway, as soon as I saw them this morning I contacted my 4 writers. I had them stop working on their daily rewrites and gave them each of the above mentioned Calls for Content to do this morning. I offered to pay them $3 per article (I'm paying them more than the normal $1 as these need to be originals)
I claimed both Calls for Content on each of my 4 accounts (total of 8 articles split between 4 writers) Each C4C is offering $10 per article, so with each writer doing 2 articles I will make $80 minus $24 paid to my writers.
That's $54 for doing nothing, nada, zip.
Hope this helps!
