Western society has a deep fascination with objectifying underage girls. And nowhere is this more visible than in the fashion industry and the media.
The average age that high fashion models start their career is 12-16. The average age of a magazine model in the US is >>>16 (celebrities are not considered "models" in the industry since it's their fame, not looks that gets attention). Model scouts book for fashion shows, print ads, events.... and they look for girls specifically in this age bracket.
This is because once women hit puberty, many of them put on fat and get heavy. If a woman is 19, and tries to start a career in fashion or modeling more than 90% of the time she will be turned down.
Young women are objectified and sexualized everywhere you look. Look at MTV ... 16 & Pregnant, Teen Moms, My Super Sweet Sixteen... if you want a successful reality show find young, over-sexualized women.
Big Pharma does something similar. The second that young, attractive women hit college they start scouting these women to become drug reps. And you will NOT get a job as a drug rep for Big Pharma unless you are a young, attractive female (you can but it's very rare). This is why Big Pharma regularly goes to fashion shows as well. They start scouting these women as early as 16 even though it's illegal.
Child pornography is a 3 billion dollar industry. 3xs more than ALL online gaming combined. And more shockingly, pedophiles are the minority. "Hebophiles" & "Ephephiles" make up the majority. These are men who search for "teen sex" online. If you have ever masturbated to porn of an 18 or 19 year old, you are technically considered an "Ephephile". Furthermore, 20% of all online porn involves women UNDER the age of 18. Seeing that almost all men watch porn, and 1/3 of women.... you do the math.
Here's another crazy fact on "child porn". In America, an underage girl can be fully clothed, take sexual pictures of herself, give it to an older man and he can be arrested for child porn. All she has to do is bend over and be in

NOW, think about that, think about what you see in magazines, tv and print ads.... and legally speaking, everyone in this country has seen a form of child porn.

We make billions hypersexualizing young girls, then we make billions locking up all the pedophiles, hebophiles and epephiles it creates. And let me make it clear. I'm just saying, if you don't recognize the immense hypocrisy of a society that dresses young girls up like sluts, broadcasts them on tv, then has the nerve to broadcast shit like "Too Catch A Predator" then your head is in the sand.
