November 3rd Update
Deleting all video games from the laptop led to increased productivity, as expected. It's still not where I want it to be, I especially tend to wander off during research for a freelance writing project.
I snatched a small WP backup reinstallation gig from an old client of mine, so that'll take a couple of hours today or tomorrow and provide a bit more quick cash for proxies, accounts, VPS...
I also need to clone a small WP installation for another long-time "client" (he's actually a trainer at the local gym, but that's a long and irrelevant story...).
These 2 tasks will probably eat a whole day or even two if I start slacking off, but they have to be done, so the sooner the better.
This evening I'm also hitting the gym, my body is weaker than ever, and you can't have a strong mind in a weak body, or something like that...
Pinterest accounts are going great.
I just broke 70k followers total yesterday, and if everything goes well, I'll hit 90-100k before November 15th.
I got the money for a VPS, so I'll buy it and set up the iMacros scripts on it later today or tomorrow.
I also improved the food/recipes website yesterday and at the moment it's like 85-90% of what I think it needs to be.
I'll be running ads on it from day 1, but they won't be too forced. 3 ad units, 1 big one in the sidebar and 2 smaller ones at the bottom. I expect nothing but rubbish CTR with this setup, but who knows, maybe I get pleasantly surprised. I'll be placing 1-2 more ad units above the fold (top of the post, top of the website) when I get some engagement on pins during next 4-8 weeks and, hopefully, some of them get some viral effect.
Content quality on this food/recipes website
will remain to be a problem, but I can't fix everything right away. I can only hope that most bitches from Pinterest will simply leave the site instead of reporting or doing other nasty stuff to my sweet Pinterest profiles. The only other alternative I have is to not send any traffic to this website whatsoever, but honestly I don't want to wait forever to do something with all these followers - if this results in all of my 3 biggest accounts being suspended, so be it. At least I won't be relying on the current content automation method any more, and I'll still hopefully have 7 accounts left to fall back onto.
The pining (money) script and the profile cloning script haven't seen much work being done on them yet. I'm prioritizing the pin script at the moment since I won't be building up new profiles for at least 2 weeks. However, pin script is the harder one to fix because I'm still not quite sure how much I even want to pin. Some ideas are 2-3 pins per hour over 8-10 hours, 8-10 times per hour for 3-4 hours during US/Canada prime time, or maybe just pin 6 pins per hour for 6 hours a bit before, during and a bit after US/CA primetime. I'm just not sure how much time it will take me to make it right without taking too much risk of getting my accounts suspended.
Noob question: When is the US/CA primetime on Pinterest anyway?
NOVEMBER 10th GOALS
- Figure out the best parameters for pinning (money) script, then modify it accordingly.
- Start pinning from my 3 biggest accounts (45k followers combined).
- Modify a friend's custom made .exe that cycles iMacros scripts every x hours - this one's hard, I'm not a very good programmer/coder. The reason I need to do this asap is because I plan on having more accounts next month, and it's gonna be too innefficient to start 30-40 scripts/profiles manually every day. I'm also kinda lazy person.
- Create a nice looking website in a different niche.
- Fix the profile cloning script - this should've been finished yesterday, but since it's not very important atm I'm not prioritizing it, just noting it down to remind myself it ALSO has to be finished eventually.
