I don't think I've seen gas prices this low is 5+ years. Very nice to see, even better when I stopped and got gas! How low can this go before 'something happens' and it jumps back up again?

Now to add a little bit of 'wow' to those on the 'other side of the pond', the price above is USD per gallon. That would be about 0.436 GBP or 0.555 Euros per liter (if my math is right... lol)

What prices have you seen where you live?

OS
PS. Yes, the name of the store is "Wawa"... silly name but they're popular gas and convenience stores in this area.

I think its going to reach $1.75 per gallon in some parts of the U.S. soon. It would be awesome if they reach the lows of Jan 2009.

Seller in my country know approximately when gas should go lower, and they raise price few days before so they can lower when the word goes out,but actually they stay on same prices...

Not to be pessimistic or anything but this smells fishy. Prices have been rising and rising and suddenly they drop and continue to do so? Something must be going on...

The U.S. and many other countries are increasing production.

wawa ------> new jersey?

NJ and PA

and gas prices are very similar to what you posted where I live (middle of NJ). They seem to drop every day. It doesn't effect me much since I am not invested in it and only fill my tank once a month or so.

I've been noticing this too for the last couple of weeks. Lowest I've seen is $2.99. Feels like I haven't seen it this low in years.

Gee, can anyone see the gas prices dropping as it becomes election time?

oohhhhhhhhhhh, those dirty rats...

Back in Finland, 1.6€ per liter. Here in the UK it's about the same.

$2.50/gallon out in the rural areas, I got $2.40/gallon today after getting .30c off a gallon with my Safeway points.

As long as prices stay over $70 per barrel, I'm happy (cost $60/barrel to frack in the U.S). I know the Russians are hating this.

I got regular for 2.59 a gallon yesterday, I will try to snag a pic.

But of course, in TEXAS we have a LOT of refineries and shipping costs are low.

I can put up with this.

The United States became one of the largest energy producing nations through advanced shell extract
technology. That along with a slow economy has dropped those prices. Definitely a great feeling!

With tensions in other oil producing nations + Possible coming regulation I would advise stocking
your pantry with gas cans OS! :D

PS: $2.70 per gallon in Virginia (Fixed it!)
