I actually wouldn't be surprised if within 3 months the average price of gas in the United States reaches around $1.50 to $1.55 per gallon, its dropped a further $.10 cents since the 5th of this month.

Not to be pessimistic or anything but this smells fishy. Prices have been rising and rising and suddenly they drop and continue to do so? Something must be going on...

Nah, it's all economics; increased production+decreased demand = crash in prices

On the supply side, U.S. has almost doubled it's production in the past 6-12 months. A few Arab countries too have increased production significantly.
On the demand side, sluggish economy in Europe and increase in fuel efficient automobiles have decreased demand.

Total National Average is now $2.05 and 28 States are now below $2 a gallon average.

Production is up dramatically due to Fracking technology, isis is selling cheap oil to raise cash, demand is down, and OPEC is on its heals right now. Supply and demand

They're predicting that 100 billion will be pumped into the US economy this year due to lowered gas prices. Which is suppose to be great. But many assholes are taking advantage of this.

I usually shop at ShopRite and noticed the cost of eggs keeps going up. I also noticed a lot of dairy items that went up like cheese, sour cream, milk, etc. I also know my brother was in Jamacia a week ago and airfare has also not come down, when fuel prices are almost half what they were 6 months ago!!!

So naturally I had to find out wtf is up.

I read a bunch of articles on Google and realize these greedy piece of shit Airlines and Grocery chains are taking this as a "fait accompli" and passing the savings directly into their pockets rather than passing any to consumers. I'm sorry, but that's fucked up shit. A carton of 30 eggs were $3.49 this summer at ShopRite now they're $4.39. Sour cream was $1.49 over the summer now it's $2.19. Same for a lot of foods.

Lets put this in perspective, when gas prices were almost double this past summer food was actually cheaper. So these rotten sons a bitches aren't just passing "savings" to their pockets..... they are RAISING prices to capitalize on the optimistic mindsets of stupid drivers like me who didn't realize this was happening till now.

Just imagine these greedy fuckers twiddling their thumbs at meetings and saying, "well, when people get in their car to drive to our stores... they're all much happier now, so lets just ruin that and take 1 giant shit on all their faces by raising the price of food... most will be too stupid to notice".

If the forum doesn't mind, I would like to make a brief but very important announcement:

>>>DO NOT BUY OR SHOP AT ANY LARGE CHAIN GROCERY STORES AND BOYCOTT THESE GREEDY BITCHES BY SHOPPING SMALL & LOCAL. DO NOT STOP AT LEAST AND UNTIL THEY LOWER FOOD PRICES.

I'm gonna consolidate this message into a searing, blood boiling infographic then share it on facebook and reddit. Maybe it will go viral. Maybe not. But Americans gotta know that large food chains are trying to rape us all in the ass. It would be 1 thing to keep prices the same for a few months and make some profits, but to slowly drive up food prices the more and more oil goes down.... I will not tolerate this. Shoprite ain't getting no more of my $$$. And I will superglue fliers all over their glass windows if I have to.

Blue Bell Ice Cream has gone up from $1.98 a few months ago to $2.50 at the local walmart for a 1 pint container of it.

Its actually the only price I noticed that increased since I don't buy milk products or eggs often, only since a few weeks ago.

It is very hard to get people to act as one group. Most people go through life like leaves in the fall. We the people has turned into we the dependent, confused, and scattered.
