There is a website that has links from only 10 websites, on their inner pages (as seen in Majestic SEO). It ranks #1 for "green coffee extract" a keyword searched 22,000 times on Google! It doesn't have keyword in the Title attribute as well. The only thing that stands out to me is that its domain starts with "Official". If its allowed, I will share the domain name.

Cheers!

just adding official to the domain doesn't help to outrank other website.

It's not that simple. The website might be really an official website of the product or niche or he might have a strong backlink profile.

He is not an official site for the product, nor the links are any strong. Its DA is 14. The sites below him are all authority sites. Its a competitive/profitable niche.

Sometimes Xcellent onpage seo is enough to rank.

The green coffee niche is WAY oversaturated anyway. Ruined I would say, by way too much cheap competition and churn/burn. No better than the other diet pill niches, you'll find little rhyme or reason to who ranks and it isn't the word official.

The only reason he might be ranking higher than the domain should, would be because when people think about anything to do with health, the "official" body would feel safer to a potential buyer than some random affiliate site, so he might be getting better click through rates because of it which can positively effect SERP position.

No, definitely not.

That kind of messes up my new BST which was going to be selling only domains with the word "Official" in the title. I was going to move the word from the front to the back and sometimes even have it in there twice, all to keep from leaving a footprint.

Oh well, onto something else.

I am getting different results to you OP, the only Domain I could find with Official is ranking on page 2 for that KW(with quotes) and page 3(without)

I could understand it if there were too many churn/burn sites ranked for Green Coffee keywords, but none except the site I referred to. The sort of sites that rank are the usual suspects for the health niche such as WebMD and Dr. Oz types. I reckon Penguin 2.1 was hard on this niche.

By far the closest explanation I have seen yet. But then for people to click first and in such number that Google credits the site with higher rank, the site has to begin by ranking moderately well. If the site was buried among ranks, it wouldn't even make a start.

Nope, it ranks #1. To negate the chances of any cache issue, I suggest look up the domain on SEMRush and it gives a rundown of keywords it ranks for.

No, it doesn't work

If you want to rank No1 then add No1 to your website. It worked wonders on my products and services site. Check out No1productsandservices. !

It seems It doesnt rank no.1 anymore after posting this here.smh

Funny if its so. I still see it ranked on HMA just to make sure my Google personalization doesn't affect the ranks. SEMRush agrees.
