Hi!
This is my first kind of ''journey'', so let me introduce myself.
I am a 16 year old high school student from the Netherlands, I am very interested in social media marketing, especially facebook.
After I just turned 15 I played just video games, so I met a cool guy, he had some kind of maffia game online, and a facebook page. Not related with eachother, so I asked him to send me the link. At this point I didnt even had my own facebook account because I had twitter, that was just enough for me. The only one in my family who had facebook was my mother, so I didn't want to make a facebook account just because I thought it was lame because she got it faster than me..
So after I took a look at his ''parody Ted'' facebook page I saw the potential of the internet, the response was great, the people were liking, sharing etc. Thousands of them. So I bought the page and sold advertisement space, similar to shoutouts on instagram nowadays.
After I sold all my pages I gathered in that time (yeah I know, probably one of my dumbest decisions I've ever made) I stopped the online marketing for a while and focused on my friends and more real life stuff.
I am a big dreamer!
So what brought me into Instagram?
Everyone at my school knows about my facebook journey, so a friend came to me with the idea of starting an instagram account, and I was like, nahh.. But after he showed me his loyalty to the account we made I was completely convinced this could be a huge experience for me and my friend.
So what is the journey you are on?
I am currently aiming for 100.000 real followers, I have a vine instagram account which attracts a lot of young people. I see children as the opening of the money, because children are very curious they will do everything for a bit of information about something.
My goal is as I said 100k, when do I want to hit it? Around the 7th or 8th month of 2015.
This is because we are working it ourselves, barely using bots and we want to make the best out of the page..
What has already been done?
- We have created the account
- Bought Followliker
- Bought 2k fake followers.. (probably another dumb move, already regret that I did it but it's no problem for now)
- Bought in total 3 shoutouts, all on 300k accounts. (gained me around 1,5k followers and cost me 60 bucks)
How does the account look like now?
- 4600 Followers
- 1600 Following
- Average of 230 likes per media
- Average of 56 comments per media
When do I want to monetize with this account?
I do want to sell shoutouts when I have 50k followers, will start a website when hitting 100k, will start an app when hitting 1M.
Costs so far :
$127,99
For the bot, shoutouts etc.
We are splitting the costs 50/50
How much I've made so far :
$24 for selling likes from panels to customers.
