Whats the best screen recording software for video tutorials

Would be great full for any suggestions as to which is the best screen recording software to use to create tutorials.

I don't know which one is the best one, but I use Microsoft's screen recorder utillity.

Look for Camtasia, you can find a cracked version online until you decide to buy it, I like the output size of the videos the most (around 10MB per 2-3 mins of recording at full hd).

I use Camtasia Studio. Snagit is also good but CS is better than it.

Im guna give camstudio ago first as it's free, does anyone know if it works on windows 8.

Camtasia. This is really a no-brainer.
But it will take some of the CPU power, which may bother you or not.
