Already noticed increase in traffic after using the plugin for few days. It perfectly fits into wordpress without any breakdown issue of the site.

Thanks for the review. We've seen the same kind of results that you have. Once we stopped Google from seeing the affiliate links on our test sites we noticed that the sites rankings returned which resulted in a huge amount of free organic traffic to the site on a daily basis.

This is a MUST HAVE wp plugin for anyone that runs a blog and relies on monetizing their sites with CPA and/or affiliate links.

We're recovering sites that were dead and buried by Google because of the affiliate links that we have on them. But now Google has no idea about those links so it thinks they're nice, clean, sites. :lmao:

We're quite happy about this (obviously) as the earnings from these sites have now returned and all thanks to the lovely FREE traffic that Google is sending us again.

This looks great, I have a question though. I read in the manual (apologies if this was covered and I missed it) the current release only hides links in posts/pages, I assume this will also hide internal links as well unless you whitelist your own domain, correct me if I'm wrong. Say you whitelist domain.tld, but you still like to pass your links through domain.tld/out, is there anyway to then blacklist /out, or is this where the shortcode function could step in?

Hi, the plugin will hide all links, both internal and external, that appear IN the content of your pages and posts.

Under the current release it won't hide navigation links that appear in your sidebar or the footer of your site as they are outside of the content of posts and pages.

If you're using "/out" to make your external links look nicer then you would still want to hide those from Google too.

The shortcode function, at the moment, comes in to play when you're using an "ad manager" plugin that places links in content using that plugins shortcode.

Without it sounding too complicated, instead of creating your link in the ad manager plugin and using it's shortcode in your posts you would first create your link in the "Link Ninja" plugin settings and the shortcode that it generates is what you would place in the 'ad manager' plugin where you would normally create the actual link.

It is then you can use the shortcode that the ad manager plugin gives you and place it in your posts and pages.

This way the ad manager plugin controls where the links appear but the Link Ninja plugin can keep the links hidden from Google.

Looks a very cool plugin. I was wondering how it works, does it use Javascript or Jquery to display the affiliate links on the page while removing them for the source code, or does it use some type of PHP redirect?

At this time can Javascript be kept hidden from google bots? If so then it would be the best way to go. Has anyone tried it, and have you found it useful?

I can't reveal exactly how it technically works. The bottom line is that it hides the links on your site from Google unless you choose to whitelist a domain. If you whitelisted

http://en.wikipedia.org/

then all links on your site that pointed to Wikipedia would be seen by Google. We did this so that when you link out to authority sites you can let Google see those links.

Hi, just to clear this up. We have discussed this via email and for clarification, the plugin will hide the anchor text or image that the use for the link. So if you use images for your links they won't be seen by Google.

The reason we chose to hide the anchor text from Google is so that the user doesn't have to worry about the actual text they use as the anchor text. This means you can use what ever text you choose for the anchor text and Google won't see it.

You could put "Get Laid Tonight, Click Here" as your anchor text and link to an adult CPA offer. Google won't see the "Get Laid Tonight, Click Here" text on the page or the link to your adult CPA offer either.

If you think about that and then about how this would open the doors of opportunity if you use AdWords to promote your landing page

Remember, Google won't see that naughty anchor text or the link so it can't punish you with high CPC prices for promoting adult related offers

We are about to roll out an update for this plugin within the next few days. This will include:

• Being able to rename the plugin upon install to anything you choose which will remove any footprint from the plugin making it next to impossible for Google to know you are using it on your site

• Being able to insert hidden links in the sidebar and footer of your WP sites.

Currently the plugin hides links that you add to your posts and pages but with the next update you'll have more freedom and choice when it comes to hiding links on your site.

All current customers will be able to update the plugin automatically via their WP admin panel.

Update Released:

Today we're pleased to announce the much anticipated update of the plugin which now means;

• The plugin doesn't leave any footprint in the source code of your posts/pages so it's now impossible for Google to know that you're using this plugin from scanning the source code of your site.
• The installation folder is renamed to a generic name that hides it from anyone scanning your WP plugin install folders although most hosting companies are set up to prevent people from doing this anyway.
• You can now use short codes to hide links in the sidebar of your blog.

The latest version of the plugin is 1.0.5

Current customers can get the free update automatically via the plugins page of their WP admin panel.

If the update is not showing available for the plugin please deactivate and reactivate the plugin which will prompt it to check our server for the update.

No problem, please PM me with the email that you used when you bought the plugin and I'll send you a DL link rather than trying to update the plugin. There was one previous, early, version that gave this problem to a couple of other customers so we fixed it in an update.

Hi Bambi, yes, the plugin does automatically hide all of the links that are in your sites existing posts and pages. If you have links in your sidebar (in a widget) then you can create short codes to hide those individually.

If you link out to sites and you DO want Google to see those links then you can 'whitelist' that domain in the plugins settings and those links won't get hidden from Google.
