First of all, I am new to this forum so I apologise if this post is in the wrong section.

Okay, so I have a really active Twitter account, but only have about 11.5k followers, which isn't huge, but my followers are all real and very active. My tweets gain a lot of attention.

I was just wondering if it is worth trying to start selling tweets because of the attention my account gets or is it pointless until I have more followers? If it is worth it, where is the best place to go about selling my tweets?

Fiverr, SEOClerks then when you have more followers:
https://buysellads.com/publishers
http://sponsoredtweets.com/tweeters/
There are many other sites available but I would suggest growing the account first.

Fiverr would be best until it grows more maybe do it properly though.. get your own site run adwords campaigns. Rank on google theres a lot you can do without going through services that just take a cut.

A design magazine with 55.000 followers charges $100/tweet. Try to get some more followers and don't forget to add real useful tweets between promotional ones (1:10 to keep your followers)

When I was purchasing tweets to promote one of my twitters. I noticed that in the 10-30k follower range, the tweet shout outs did not do much, if anything. They are cheap shout outs do not get me wrong, a 30k follower account on average I remember was offering around $15 for tweet shout outs, but it really had very little effect, and not a lot of people were buying them.

This is from what I remember, maybe a year ago.

~Good Luck~

You're better off building it up even more. I personally wouldn't buy a tweet at that low of followers to be honest.

Here's a site you can sell tweets as well http://tweetsta.com/ made by a member here

Oh btw, I agree with people above, Fiverr might be a better idea for what you are looking for.

I would say try fiverr.

I'm interested in hearing how your method of choice works out for you.

My advice is SEOClerk. Like TheStlos said, keep us updated on what worked and what didn't.

If it's as active as you describe then it should be growing at a solid rate. Selling Tweets at this point would be detrimental to your account. First of all, people just aren't going to pay much for a Tweet to 11.5k followers. If you're getting, say, 35-50 rts on average, the price people would be willing to pay for your Tweets is going to be much less than the Tweet is actually worth.

Also, you should mainly be focusing on growth at this point. If anything, you should be the one buying the Tweets. At 11k the only thing that will really come of you Tweeting promos is slowing down the growth of your account for some pocket change.

Hey guys, thanks for your help, I have read all your comments, I will take a quick look at Fiverr but I am probably going to keep growing it for now. Any tips on growing real followers on an account? I'm doing pretty well at the moment but always room to improve.

So many people ask that. Just follow as many as you can per day and you should be good.
