Hi all

Can anyone recommend an established freelancer or one of the marketplace threads that cater for small businesses with a budget ranging from $50-$150 per month? Needs to have excellent verifiable results.

Thanks

Things cost a lot where I live. $20 for a pepperoni stick.

Op for that amount you are willing to pay you are not going to find much as to Local SEO service. If you want to do the work yourself, I'd be willing to tell you what you needed to do.

I would not charge you or anything so if you have no problem getting a little dirt under your fingernails, shoot me an email - [email protected].

I won't get to it until Monday probably but I surely will get to it and give you some direction.

I'll do it for those prices. Only because I'm desperate ;) My real world prices are much much higher than that.

When someone offers to do work for XYZ price and has not even seen the extent of the work required, that is usually a red flag.

c4rtel, you don't even know the extent of the work and you are blindly bidding... not a good business model, Dude.

Internet is fast paced BassTrackerBoats.

I'd rather say I'd do it and back out if I can't
than risk getting undercut.

Don't assume I'm not legit
Just because I'm a c4rtel :)

And that is why I quit responding to a lot of "hire a freelancer" threads in general. With so many legit
services there's really not a point for a lot of these threads. Therefore there's always a looming reason.

If you don't mind, I would also like to get some guidance on my website SEO strategy. I looked for some low cost SEO services but do not think it will help much.

Might that looming reason be that freelancers are cheaper?

OP. I was going to say send me the details and I'll give you some advice. I see Gregs already done that so get in touch with him he knows his stuff.

C4rtel I'll give you $30 for a Rimjob. You will have $10 in your pocket and Pepperoni stick to get rid of the taste.

LOL that price is ridiculous. hahaha

Hey, could I email you about learning to provide seo packages for clientele? I don't mind getting my hands dirty trying to learn :) I do web development now, but I'd love to learn more about SEO.

The typical range of prices and/or pay formats for SEO services, based on MOZ's industry survey of over 500 SEO providers, is discussed here:
Code:
http://moz.com/blog/seo-pricing-costs-of-services
http://searchenginewatch.com/article/2267471/How-Much-Should-You-Spend-on-SEO-Services

Since the typical flat fee rate for a SEO project is $1000 on up per site, or $250 or more per month if recurring, any offer below that you see made by a freelancer should be considered below market price. A one-off offer (1-2 months of work) in the low hundreds to perform writing and linking work intended to rank your site in 90 or so days would be a reasonable trade off. You should understand you are paying for the work done (say, keyword research, 20+ articles plus about 200 hi PR varied links), and not for "guaranteed" rankings, as no one can honestly promise that in the current climate. All you should expect is a "basketball lay-up" strategy that creates a firm foundation for making improved rankings as probable as possible.
