Easy $100 A Day - Perfect For Noobs

Hey guys. As per my previous post I took Freddyjames' advice and bit the bullet. As a complete noob, I registered a domain and chose a hosting plan and I spent all night making a website (a fairly good one, was rather pleased) and learned so much about wordpress. I came across MANY difficulties as a noob but I can now make a full website in a fraction of the time if I ever need to again which is a fantastic skill I have learned. I also registered for an Amazon associates US account even though I am a UK resident as my website is geared towards the US.

I have been marketing my website all day today on facebook and on various blogs but in all that time I have only gotten 4 clicks on my affiliates account. The stats for my website are 17 unique visitors today. I know that I should just keep at it but it is a bit disheartening I must say. Nevertheless I am really happy at gaining all the skills that I now have.

That's pretty good for day one. The key with this method is consistent work over a period of time. Consistent posting will add up over time.

That's a great surprise. Given me a boost. Will report back in a week. Thanks Meathead for this great thread, you've pushed many people into learning a wide range of skills as well as making money.

I just realized that the Amazon Associates page is not in real time and only updates at certain times of the day. I had 87 clicks yesterday with my first ordered item! What I don't understand is that in the order report, in the items-with-orders section it says the item that was bought was a kindle e-book, but I do not have this product on my website so I'm a bit confused.

I also had 242 unique visitors on my website yesterday which is great to read.

The method is definitely good, but I do not think this is noob friendly.

Listen, before I started this I was probably the biggest noob on this forum. I didn't even know what hosting was. If I can do it, anyone can.

this should explain it:
Code:
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/help/t2/a11
they arrive on Amazon via your aff link, you'll be credited for any purchase they make on Amazon in 24hrs if the criteria on the above link are met

Is there a way to hide my email address from my site using wordpress. Even though I have unticked author in the settings, in the url it still say /author/myemailaddress

Edit: I figured it out. Can't believe I had to install a plugin to make my email address private.

I've met these and as long as your comments are (as they're supposed to be for this method, or any method) on topic and relevant, you'll have no problem.

Unfortunately, I've met some strict forums.

These forums Reply to My Post

Hello meathead1234,

usually How many posts i make on one forum? Then just to drop a link.

Thank you!

I don't get too many actionable alerts each day (maybe 2-3) but I have been building it up for a while and have quite a high end service ... ...

Hello meathead1234,

What is your "high end service"?

Hey just thought I'd update:

I mentioned earlier that last thursday (as a complete and utter noob), I made my first website and began marketing it on Friday. I spent the whole of Thursday night learning and using Wordpress; reading forums, watching youtube vids etc. when I ran into problems (and I assure you the number of problems that I ran into was no laughing matter). I've spent about an hour and a bit a day getting my website out there (if I include the time spent trying to fix problems on my website this becomes many hours).

So far the stats are:

-1987 unique visitors

-1506 clicks on Amazon. 59 ordered items. So far 29 have been shipped.

- My Amazon is only showing earnings for the shipped items, so currently the Earnings Summary is showing a total revenue of $1006 and my advertising revenue is $60.

-I wanted to find out my total revenue and fees so I went through all the items that had been ordered (took ages, is there a quicker way to do this?) and though I don't understand how the commision structure works (each item has a different % and it says if I reach 2 more items my referral rate will be 6.5%), I worked out my total revenue is $2100. If I apply the 6.5% on that it gives me an advertising fee of $137.

For spending so much time each day as I have since Friday on this, to me it isn't a good return. I'm going to cut back to spending only 15 minutes a day getting my website out there now.

So you have spent a week (7 HOURS!) on one website and are now cutting back because you did not earn enough?
You should spend MORE time on it.
Find out what works then replicate it on MANY sites, then it will be worth it.
Some people have made NO Amazon sales, so the fact you made 60 in your first week should be encouraging.

I have spent so much time trying to fix issues with my website but I am learning a lot in the process which is good. If I do replicate this on many sites would I still be able to use the same Amazon tracking ID on those sites?

exactly, that's what i wanted to write myself, but when i refreshed the page it was already there :)

MrGr33n should consider himself lucky to make that many sales after just 1 week being in IM, most people will never make anything no matter how long or hard they try, it wasn't even luck more than likely, but a well executed plan after following meathead1234's pointers

it should be taken as a success and not as a failure imho

This is an EXCELLENT start. Probably one of the best I've seen. Keep working on it and it will continue to generate residual income. Remember - you're putting in the groundwork now for passive income going forward. Each post you make will be there forever (in theory).

I would recommend an hour a day. Don't setup any other websites yet - just work on this one for now.

Honeybird, certainly the success is all down to Meathead, after following his pointers for a well executed plan like you said.

Cheers Meathead, much appreciated.

I have 30 active users on my site right now as I have just hit the social media sites. I wanted to ask:

-I added a new post today; since I'm using Cloudflare, will that post which includes an image, be instantly available for the world to see? I'm just wondering because it says that 'CloudFlare caches static resources including JavaScript, CSS and image''. I'm just curious because I tried accessing my website off my mobile phone straight after the post and the entire post appeared, including the image.

$137 Profit

This means you are making around 7 cents per visitor.

I'd take that in a heartbeat.

If you could get 1000 uniques a day through SERPs, that would be over $2k passive income a a month, which can obviously be duplicated with further sites.

Don't give up on it, spend more time on it. These little problems you are having are learning process, one that we all had to go through.

Congrats so far, keep it up.
