You will need a proper website with solid unique contents in order to get approved on Google Adsense.

2.Design of your website is appealing to user.
3.Content of your website should be original and not copied from other blogs.
4.Content quality should be high and it should not contain pornographic material.
5.Size of content should be atleast 500 words per article.
6.Your website should have about 10 - 15 quality posts.7.
8.It should have about, privacy policy and terms & conditions page.
9.Connect your website with Google Analytics and Google Webmasters.
10.If you are from Asian country then domain age must be atleast 6 months.

Yes, you will need domain for that. And not only domain, and working fine domain with proper content.

Google Will Review it and then if they found it good, then they will approve the account.

It seems it might be easier to get approved for adsense if your website is already showing some sort of advertising. In my case I got approved for Amazon affiliates first, put some ads on my site- then I applied for adsense. My website (at the time) sucked pretty bad. I told my buddy to try to sign up for chitika advertising and try again to get approved with adsense. After 2 denials from google previously, once chitika was on his site he was pasting adsense code 2 days later. It could be a coincidence, but we'll never know..

Of course your website has to be halfway decent or you will never get an approval.

Yes, having a domain easily shows some credibility that you are ready to start sending traffic to their advertisements. Without it, your just a spec of dust to them. You are nothing.

This is not necessarily true sir, I am from the Philippines and my 2-week old site got approved in less than a month. It just needs to be updated regularly upon registration, fill it with contents, and don't forget to include your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy pages. And make sure you get a top level domain, .com / .org / .net or country-code top level domains, before applying in Adsense. Basically, you should have a complete website before you apply, not a "under construction" site. Good Luck OP

This might just be true. Even a month old website filled with ClickBank ads seems to be approved faster compared to a website with "naked" pages.
