Please?

Because "How to build links in 2014." is vastly different than "How to build links in 2014?"

Just sayin'

Agreed . . . There have been numerous times that I have changed the titles
on threads like that and turned it into a question. Sometimes I think they
post the titles that way simply to get people to click on it who think that
they are going to be learning something, only to find that the OP wants to
learn something.

You have to remember that no everyone on this forum speaks English as their first language.

Other languages have different standards, having learned Spanish over an 8 year period, I can tell you that I still don't speak it correctly because my tendency is to translate the words in my mind and speak them exactly as I would in English, and that isn't always right.

I think when it comes to grammar, punctuation and other things that aren't important we should recognize that if we tried to speak a different language it would be really difficult. We should also commend the non-native speakers for their desire and ability to learn a new language rather than sit her only speaking one language and give them a hard time.

What if English isn't somebody's first language

(^^see what I did there (<<and there... ok that's enough. This can get addictive))

I realize that English is not the primary language of many of our members.
My beef is with the guys who purposely make threads with titles that seem
like you are about to learn something, but when you click on it, you find
that the OP is actually the person who wants to learn something.

It is a deceiving method to get people to click - thinking they are about to learn something.
