Hitting Tier 1 with BHW PBN's?

I've been very cautious with my link building for my money sites. I have a number of high quality niche relevant contextual links for tier 1, primarily acquired through webmaster outreach, and continue to build them at a slow and steady pace. The site has plenty of link diversity with naturally occurring links. I have been unhappy with our recent ranking progress and am looking to accelerate things while minimizing risk.

I have found several well reviewed PBN services here on BHW. I have a few questions that I hope you could help with...
1) Would it be effective, for my money site, to hit my tier 1 links with PBN posts from BHW?
2) If so, what should I use for anchor texts to the tier 1 links?
3) How much risk would I be exposing my money site to?
4) Any other suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on the quality of the PBN's, you can even point them directly at your money site for maximum efficiency. I wouldn't recommend utilizing anything that is irrelevant or low quality though, even if you're pointing it at your tier 1s.

When it comes to anchor text, it all depends if you have your on-page optimization and keyword densities setup properly on your site. If your keyword density isn't over-optimized on your site, you can get more aggressive with your anchors, and vice versa.

You don't necessarily have to have the keyword inside the anchor, it can be in the same sentence as the anchor and have just as much weight. You don't necessarily have to use the exact same word either, you can use a synonym as well. The hummingbird update has allowed us to play around with different methods!

Let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with.

Here's a quick thought - have you asked these website owners if they would mind you pointing PBN links are their sites? If they are checking their backlinks on a regular basis and spot some suspicious activity pointing towards your post (I'm assuming they are guest posts) then you may risk losing your tier 1 links altogether as they decide to delete the posts and disavow the PBN links you point at their site.

I don't think putting someone else's website at risk is a particularly morale thing to do without asking them first.

That is a good question and, yes, I have given that some thought. I began thinking of utilizing this idea after reading a number of threads about building guest posts for your tier 1 and then blasting them with Magic Submitter, GSA, etc. for tier 2. That, to me, seemed to really put the linking site at risk.

Why don't you just ask the website owners if you can do outreach for their pages that link to you. that's a win/win.

I have had fairly new sites in the past that when I done outreach, some balked, but none of them balked when I gave them the option to link to the other sites that had linked to my site that they already knew and trusted.

If someone emailed me for a link on outreach and then put PBN links to the page, not only would I remove the page, but I would sue them.

Outreach is not that hard, so work on them instead of putting bad links to a good site.

I have been looking a lot into tier building and I am paranoid just like you to an extent. Saying that, from what ive read [NOT EXPERIMENTED] .. people are fairly comfortable with using GSA for tier 2's. Does not put the website at risk directly as you can always take the tier 1's out which are minimal links. Just a thought.

Also,

Have you considered creating your own PBN?

It does allow you more flexibility and control.

I agree with xaviel!

You sould create your own PBN. You can reg an expired domain for as low as $0.99 using Godaddy coupon code and fake reg + host this site on a $5 per year hosting. Reg 20 sites and for less than $200 you'll have a really powerful PBN.

This is what I've been doing recently and its seemed to have been working rather good.

Get real guest posts fro high DA sites (not as difficult as it sounds. Just email a few bloggers and offer them money in return for a guest post)

After getting those high DA links published, send a layer of PBN links to them.

The results you'll find are pretty awesome

Build your own PBN, I'd use PBN's here on BHW to power web2.0's though. I used to use PBN's here directly to moneysite, but was penalized under 6 months. If you're doing churn n burn you can use PBN's otherwise use it as tier 2 to power your tier 1 links

PBN`s are very effective but till the google will penalize them (((:, the better is to build own PBN web 2.0 based and boost them with tools like GSA SER, cheaper and also very effective.

What about buying links from sites having DA80 and PR8? Someone here on BHW is providing this service for $20-$40 per link?

This was pretty much my original question. It seems others have disagreed with this as a strategy. I'd be interested in getting some more input. Thanks to all who have replied already.

1. if the PBN posts are from the moderator than it will, Otherwise go for the reviews and the quality. You can also look for such networks outside Bhw as well.
2. THe anchor text variation should be the following :
* Brand Name : 50%
* Naked URL : 20%
* Generic : 20%
* LSI/KV : 5%
* Direct : 5%
3.To get the results you will have to take such kind of risk.
4. I would like to suggest you to go for blog networks (you can pm if you want to know what I prefer and actually works ),contextual links for tier one linking, web 2.0 properties ad forum discussions as tier 2 and forum profiles, social bookmarking, directory submission , etc as tier 3 backlinks.The reason I beleive in this is to make the backlink profile look natural and boost the power of first tier backlinks
You can use tools like GSA, SEnuke to give a boost to the first tier backlinks.

All The Best!!

Cheers..!

How about setting up your own PBNs, starting with something like 5 domains, which you can power up with other links on a regular basis.

can you recommend good pbn service for churn and burn method.
thanks

if you have the enough experience, create your own PBN. it's more safe.

A couple of things:

One, link building to a paid slot on a PBN will very likely get you A) removed from the PBN or B) Negative SEO'ed by the owner if you piss him off.

Two, you have to be VERY careful choosing paid PBN links to fire at your money site. Even reviews don't tell you everything because a lot of people are dumb and there are a lot of paid reviews in threads.

Three, especially post-Penguin you should know that blasting GSA links even at T2 or T3 is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE idea. You'll be essentially wasting your money as it will cause you to lose the value of your PBN link. My advice, throw away the crappy tools all together and build actual high quality links. Otherwise you'll be posting back here next year bitching about losing all your rankings like the guys who got caught by Penguin this year did. Don't say nobody warned you.

Building your own is the safest/best... if you have the time.
