I use trust flow and citation along with several other metrics occasionally, but I don't rely on those link metrics (TF and CF) as I've found them to be inaccurate most of the time. I've seen websites with 38 trust flow and 38 citation flow not rank well and then I have one of my websites with an ever-changing trust flow between 1-16 and a citation flow of 18 (mind you, I'm not even building links, although someone is spamming my website's link on an irrelevant website) is ranking competitively for good keywords.
What really matters how well you're ranking in Google, not how high your "trust flow" or "citation flow" are.
