It depends on the niche, competition and how safe you want to be! Most people use GSA but I prefer sape+.

You are not going to find a different commercial tool or process unless it is a proprietary one to do a C&B or unless you outsource the work to someone like t0mmy other than GSA.

I know you are having GSA issues and have asked for someone to point you in the right direction; my suggestion is that you hire someone to show you what you are doing that is causing those issues... give them access to your VPS or where you are running GSA and let them show you how to set things up so you are good to go.

It may cost you a couple of dollars but might be worth the money.

I feel out with my last VPS provider because of it

He said it was on their end, but its a bug GSA had,

So I went and got a new VPs provider with 1gb more ram and still same issue.

Think I will try out sourcing at this point

Entirely depends on the market...

I use bespoke HTML sites (which have masses of theme/look differences) and uses very-large hyper-spun documents to generate the content.

Then I mass link them with black-hat methods until they rank reasonably well and then forget about them - and start on the next. Different hosts/registrars etc.

I maintain a set number of sites in a keyword group - and monitor ones which get killed at Google updates; then replace. Some sectors last 6 months plus, some much less.

Many of them collect leads via a link to a non-indexed private central site (nothing to do with any main/brand/money sites.)

As a strategy, it can be time-consuming unless you've invested in some of your own tech. It also requires a LOT of organisation and monitoring.
