Who got hit by Panda 4.1 ?

All of my pages with low keyword density, which were previously ranking well, got slapped down quite a few spaces. I bet increasing density solves the issue.

i have been hit for the first time .Lost approximately all number 1 rankings , and guess what site with mass spam from gsa ser + shit content(more in quantity than mine) is ranking 1 now . I was earlier getting 2k daily from google , now I am sitting at 500. This was my only white hat( i mean the least blackhat) :P site.

I love how you people really belief that this is a "real algo update", it is just a reshuffle of the index, your content and the amount of content your have has 0 influence, but the stock-prize and their shareholders do, that s why Google reshuffles their index every year, you call it panda updates...

Google calls it the ca-ching update, cus it will move a lot of webmasters to their over expensive adword program, look at all the sites that have ranked with crappy gibberish content after all these so called "panda updates"

Maybe if you buy content that cost $25- per 100 words you can beat it, but i'll bet that one nice panda morning your whitehat, expensive high quality content site is going to be gone from the index, why? because Google wants you to pay for their traffic so they can make their shareholders happy, that is why.

Yeah but they make the bad mistake of hitting purely informational sites which have no products to sell and monetize with Adsense. Nobody is going to buy Adwords for an informational site where nobody buys anything and they have nothing to sell... It would just be PURE LOSS. I net $1500+ a month on Adsense, by f*cking me they've only f*cked themselves. The 2K USD share they likely get means nothing to them but it's still a hit to their pocket. I'm sure overall they'll make their bucks from this attack, but they should really filter out authority information sites.

That is collateral damage, do you know how many webmaster there are that are never on a forum, all these local sites and pop and mom sites, local stores or small store sites that get hit over and over again, when they have tasted the traffic they want more, like junkies want crack and that is when Google turn the table and make you pay for it, a lot...

If they where real updates then a 100% of my crappy lead gen sites should have tanked years ago, i lost a view down the road of course, but overall if i take the last 5 years i haven't lost more then 10% of my crappy site portfolio, and with crappy site i mean .info domains with 250+ postings with content that is 95% the same (only difference is the city)

That proves to me that these so called updates aren't really updates but reshuffles. For me it is a known fact so i tend to smile when i read threads like this and people really trying to figure out if there keyword density would be better if it is 2.5% instead of 1.5% or that the content needs more text 800 words instead of 500 words, or maybe more video's and pictures, it really doesn't matter that much, it never has... :)

THe more I learn and experience SEO, the more I understand that BH (incl. spam links) has the best ROI and therefore is the way to go.

Thank you paulie for your lines that is a golden one.

2008 started entering the web as something to offer users
2009 Added adsense and started looking for Search Engine traffic
2009 Joined various forums to optimize onpage factors
2010 Added backlinks and tasted the Google PR
2011 Got hit for penquin and my site has gone. Stopped my information site and created a portal
till now the believer of Black Hat and never thought of going back to so called white hat (snake oil)

If you don't want BH then only alternative is a paid traffic(adwords, fb ads, Bing ads) nothing else.
if you want snake oil(whitehat) then sure you will start another thread soon here or in other webmaster forum saying you lost rankings, you lost money etc...

DO BH right way, you wont regret.

On my smaller sites, I don't see any movements at all. Haven't been focusing on them for a while so I will probably do some content updating in a few days. Been so busy with other campaigns, lol.

What do you mean started a portal?

I was dancing a bit on one highly competitive site, strangely. Back at the top after a week or so of disappearing and reappearing.

So far i saw only improvement since it started. Am not using any spun content on site but my SEO is kinda spammy
will see what happens in next few days

Still haven't see changes on my sites may be a week more and we can see results.

No significant changes. Couple of spots moving here and there but nothing out of the normal.

We'll see what happens, it's like a blind roller coaster - never know when the loop is coming but most of the time you don't get stuck on the top and it levels off.

We shall see

Rankings has not decreased, but organic traffic from 55 daily visits went to 17~...The worst part is that my website is informative and shouldn't be considered as thin content website..

Check keyword density, is it low?

We noticed ranking improvements for over 10% of the web properties we track. Thats nearly 3000 business which saw an uptick in rankings.
