Im in this situation right now..

My dad kicked me out from the house

I have to find an apartment within a week, or be homeless

Apartments where i live are about 600 a month, plus, when you move in you pay a deposit of a bout 300

So I need about 1000 in a week.....

What would you do?

That would not only solve your housing problem, but having a better relationship with him would surely be a good thing in the long term?

Well the best way to solve your differences with someone, is to try looking at things from their perspective.

I'm not saying he is right, as I have no idea what the issue is - but even if you are certain he's wrong, try it.

Being homeless sucks, I've lived that life in the past.

Don't try to work things out, DO work things out.

Being humble and contrite goes a long way; showing respect does as well.

Do what you have to do so that you are still able to live there.

Yes Malakii I would definitely work your differences out with your dad no matter what the case. We all have our differences and most of the time we don't see eye to eye with our parents. But no matter what the problem it is NEVER good to let it go and not take care of. You never know how long you have with those you love. We may not always like what our parents tell us, or how they look at things. But they are most of the time a lot wiser than us. I know of a great way to make some money and build your own business that takes time so you need to have a job and show your dad you are being responsible and trying and maybe if you apologize, then things will work out. You still may not see eye to eye. But maybe you can both agree to disagree and find a way to keep your relationship and grow closer. This is hard but not imposibble. I don't mean to offend anyone but my life's thought comes from the Bible. Luke1:37 "For with God Nothing sha be impossible." Hope everything works out with you and your dad.

IM takes a while to get right. You should probably try to win yourself some time, talk to your dad and find yourself a job before you leave your house.
