Public networks are ideal for churn and burn. For long term sites, private networks are preferable.

I ordered quite a few "permanent" blog posts. None lasted a year. Some service deleted them after 2-3 months...

The best thing is to build your own pbn or rent links, look who offers a website in your niche, links on homepage, max obl 30, and asks for monthly payments.

I have some sites in my own network, but it isn't massive enough or quick enough to rank as high and fast as I needed to in order to make money this year. I think I will slowly start moving toward depending upon my own network... BUT the short term bang/dollar of public networks is enticing. For $200 I can jump 5-10 spots in a profitable keyword in 3 weeks time. If I built my own to do that same jump it would take 2-3 months and cost me probably $400.

So I think buying links has it's place, but sellers should be more up front about how long they have hosting paid for. And if they are going to drop a site they should ethically at least inform those who have slots and ask them if they would like to chip in $2 each to keep it hosted another 2 years.

You are joking man... I can go out get 3 decent pbn sites (because i can tell good from the crap), and those 3 pbn sites will give me x5 more value for my money than me buying services/renting links/anything else.

Clearly your sites that you have are not the right ones, or you don't know how to set up proper pbn.

It's almost impossible to find the right guy to rent links from, because people don't know what to look for and don't know what is good.

Sorry for the long rant in advance but look people, we all know that people who are buying look mostly at price and make decisions based on price.

If there are 2 options for the seller:

1. Sell unlimited links (or even like max 100) on site by selling posts for 10$ and earn 1000$ (even tho people who are buying those links gets shit, because that many outbound links devaluates their backlink to shit level)
After 100 or any max limit fills in you think he will keep hosting that site forever even tho he gets nothing in return ? If he was selling with like 10years host included, then he would have to increase the price of the links because competitors are selling for less, so hes doing everything that he can to sell at market price that means doing the same as everyone else (stop paying for hosting after some time).

2. Rent links with limit outbound links you would have to pay xX times the price compared to the first offer and monthly !!! Now that's a bad deal, isn't it ? Most people think it is.

What i learned in the past months, is that selling good services that help businesses rank will make you good money, selling crap that provides no value (rapped in shiny paper) at bargain/stupidly cheap prices will make you millionaire.

It takes me about 2 weeks of freetime to design, code, and wrote content for one good site. Buying the domain usually costs me around $25, the hosting is like $25/year. So $50 for first year and then $25/year after that. The price is not the issue for me, it's that I'm too busy to build more than one site a month. I typically make them about 30 pages in size with 30 articles/content of 500+ words. The big problem being that I had a site that I needed to rank well in less than 3 months, and I figured that 300 crappy links would do that job faster/better than 3 really nice links. But now that it is ranking well I realize that buying these links is NOT a good long-term plan. Although I may continue to buy PBN links to aim at my T1's as I build them.

how many money sites do you need to make it worth buying a high rank site? I am only playing with 4 sites, stacking up the costs of building a high rank pbn and it is more expensive than the monthly option, I suppose it will be better in the second year

But at least you're in control, sometimes piece of mind is worth the extra work/cost.

Why would you do that for pbn ? Get domain and hosting, install wp, buy x2-3 3$ articles, throw in some niche relates YT videos some pictures and those articles, link to money site ??? Why would you need to make this so complicated.

I suppose that's a good question. I suppose it is because I figured that I needed ultra high quality in order to be an authority site eventually. Do you think that a quick site with $3 articles and yt videos could eventually become high authority too?

No, why would it ? I don't need my pbn to be authority, I need it to rank the money sites and make shit load of money, that's it, no more no less.
