Parasites PWN! - Leeching From Authority Sites = $$$$

How do you post links on Buzzfeed? When I post my link it automatically links to the post itself.

And are there other similar sites like Buzzfeed you can recommend?

Thanks

I've never used buzzfeed man, there is a heap of parasites I compiled in the OP though.

I'm quite surprised this works, I have tried to rank youtube videos, hubpages and few others considered here as good domains fo parasite pages spamming them with GSA, but without success in past, like two years ago. After I read this I'm willing to give it another try. I would just like to ask what you think is more important? What site you choose to build your parasite page, or the way how you do the backlinking and social signal? I would just like to know the basic direction of my research on this. I might try SEO after two years of different projects again :)

It's crazy how people are surprised at this as it's one of the hottest rankings strategies around at the minute and talked about a lot on other bh forums I frequent, I would say give it another whirl and try out a few different ones from the list, better still if you can track down some of your own which are not being used as much by other parasite lovers they'll work even better. Well I have my strategy more or less nailed at the moment so I'm more hunting down new parasites now than anything, but yeah both are important more so link building I would say.. The basic direction is all laid out in the OP.

This is a badass mfkn post. Exactly what this forum needs more of. I was killing it by ranking YT parasite videos, 1 after another after another after another it was ridiculous how easy it was to make money. Especially back when retention view sellers were working. I'd find keywords with videos already ranking in the top 5, with more than 3,000 searches, less than 40k views, less than 5,000 backlinks.... and if they met those criteria I knew I could outrank 90% of them. I'd blast with views, blast with GSA on my server, blast with socials (just 1-2 fiver gigs), and more competitive videos would usually need a "kick" or a "punch" towards month 2 or 3 kinda like you said. So if the video was being stubborn, all I'd do is order some high pr web2.0 (won't mention source cause tommy deserves the traffic) and sure enough a few weeks later they'd crack the top 3.

Then youtube wiped out retention view suppliers, and 9/10 videos started getting banned.

Thats when shit really hit the fan and I was mad as hell at myself for taking things so slow and casual. If I only worked a bit harder when things were ripe I could be making $20k/month now on complete autopilot. But now it's virtually impossible to scale. Unless I start buying traffic directly from YT (which I might idrk).

I also remember ranking a couple fan pages the same exact way. One for a 10k search keyword, ranked #2, another for a 6k search keyword ranked #1. Then I also ranked a few blogspots using this same technique.

The hardest thing I'm facing really, is just making the full switch from YT to other authority sites. Cause I was doing YT for 2 years and once you get use to a specific easy method, it's hard to change and adapt when that method stops working like it use to. Like I'm still in denial about retention view sellers but I know if I don't eliminate them from the equation 100% and start focusing on other authority sites, I'm never gonna get back to scaling my earnings. But after reading this post, I think it's time to just grow some balls and stop being a pussy.

One last thing. I'm not sure if people fully realize this but parasite SEO is not the same as "churn and burn". Like Tommy said, it is completely different than normal SEO. Because I have videos I spammed the shit out of 2 years ago, >>>still ranking in the top 5 of Google today and driving commissions. FFS, I haven't even LOOKED at some of those videos in more than 6 months. I just know when I check Clickbank, they're still driving traffic and earnings. And that's 1 of the craziest fucking things about this method. You get the benefits of "churn and burn" without the "burn". It's really crazy shit. :)

Hell, why did I give up so easily two years ago? :) Have you guys ever tried this on old parasite page, or is it important part of equation to do this only on new articles, videos, fanpages?

got everything set up on my first run. Im hitting a solid, up and coming niche with anywhere between 4k-14k searches per month per keyword. article is live and signals campaign is running. links start to build soon as well. ive decided to outsource all the work and im looking at about 150 dollars for this entire campaign including 20k links, over 1800 social signals, a very well written article (thanks to a review copy i received from somedevil) and the domain for the redirect. im promoting a clickbank product packed full of info and the only product available in this sub niche category (health related) i could find. im really excited about this and will report back with results as i see them come. hopefully i can rank quick and will be able to post my redirected URL to the original parasite soon! the only thing im worried about up until now is the parasite i used. I went with topix but i think i will do this again, same niche, new article (of course) and same social signals and link building campaigns but on another parasite to see which work better. thanks again t0mmy for the detailed post and help you've given everyone here.

edit: one question i do have. what tool do you guys reccomend i use to check ranking of the parasite?

Is drip feeding or link velocity important? Or can I just give it a blast?

t0mmy stated in OP and first few pages that velocity isnt all that important. drip feeding the links daily is how he has done it judging by the OP but these parasites can take a beating. so all traditional link building rules can be thrown out the window.

Yeah pretty much but a somewhat consistent velocity is good imo, so I keep it at a rate of 1 - 1.5k links built per day.

question about serpbook. i punched in my topix page as the domain with keywords ect. under domain though it only shows "topix(dot)com" is it tracking my page or there whole domain?

That's tracking the whole domain, when entering a URL to the right of the entry box there is a check box for "exact" tick it to track the exact URL rather than whole domain.

ah i thought that was for domain being exact keyword as well.. got it

When throwing social signals at your parasite, do you only need a couple hundred or do you need 1000's to get good results?

Does social signals even have any impact on ranking?
