Standard settings should be fine, its when you start overclocking and pushing your system to the limit that there can be issues. That being said I've been mining with 3 R9 290 GPU's heavily overclocked since february and they're still going strong. So if you use default settings it will be fine, but try to monitor the temperature, if your room is already very warm or if there is no ventilation, just keep an eye on it.
First of all check if your wallet is fully synced, if you bought it off of buypnd.com it can happen yes. Those withdrawals are not automated, they are manually approved since some guys tried to manipulate it (get a couple of million for a couple of cents) so at this point they have to be manually approved. If the person running the website is awake, it will take a few minutes, if he's sleeping, you can imagine it can take a few hours

It literally takes seconds to arrive, the problem you are experiencing is because you didn't completely sync the wallet yet. On the bottom do you see how many blocks are downloaded compared to the full amount of blocks there are? They need to be downloaded before the recent transactions show up.
yes mate ive been mining awhile now and know about syncing wallets , thats not the issue . the issue is the coins arent being sent , check the blockchain .
