About the address: no you can't delete it, it's a safety measure because if someone deletes his/her old account and someone accidently sends something to it then the coins are lost.
We are considering however that in future you would have the option to hide empty accounts :)

You can uninstall the program, no problem. However you can NEVER delete your wallet.dat file. That's basically where your addresses/accounts are located. You should back up this file somewhere. I have a backup on 2 different USB sticks and 1 on a cloud. The entire point of cryptocurrencies is that it's decentralized so the main information is on your computer and not somewhere on a server or anything so you're responsible for your own coins :)

If you redownload the program on another computer a new address will be generated, unless you first put your old wallet.dat file there, then you will be able to log in with your current password.
